Casa Lorenza Hotel

Great location in the city!

Pros: The rooms were decently sized and not noisy, air conditioning kept the room cool, staff was friendly, and last but not least, the breakfast was great and well-thought of!

Pros: Amazing breakfast, staff always kind and available to support, the room on the third floor was nice, bright and quite. Perfect location in the historic centre, but away from the hustle and bustle of the bars and restaurants

good price quality (but take the rooms upstair )

Pros: We were there 2 different times . One time we had the room totally upstairs ( 2 floors, no lift ). We slept well, no noise.. That night we felt we had a good experience for the price paid. staff was nice !

Cons: One night we had the room 1, next to the reception. Slept very bad, because of the noices ( people enterring, the guard, next to the breakfast )..

Pros: A very quiet room considering all of the noise outside. Breakfast was excellent

A Perfect Stay in Cartagena – Comfortable, Welcoming, and Well-Located

Pros: We stayed at Casa Lorenza for two nights and were very happy with our stay. Everything was great – the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thanks to John who gave us many great tips and recommendations about what to see and do in Cartagena, which really enhanced our experience. The location of the hotel is also excellent which made it easy to explore. We highly recommend Casa Lorenza to anyone looking for a decent place to stay in Cartagena!

Lovely Staff and location

Pros: Excellent staff...John, Beatrice, Hector, Rafael, Nellie and Sandy made our stay so much fun and made the location perfect. Any shortcomings of the facilities were easily compensated for by these lovely people! The location provides easy walking to everywhere. Close to groceries, a great mall (that used to be a bull-fighting arena) and a good laundry.

Cons: The room we were initially given was way too small. We were at the hotel for two weeks of a three-month holiday and there was not enough room for our suitcases etc. We were moved to a much more spacious room on the main floor thanks to John for making that change for us!!

Nice stay

Pros: Friendly staff (John was great), the place was clean and the breakfast was good. Great location to walk around. A/C worked perfectly, very quiet. The room also has a ceiling fan. They have a drinking water station available downstairs, which is a nice touch.

Cons: Noisy during the day due to location (not the place's fault).

Pros: Very nice staff and breakfast was small but good. Coffee could be improved. They also offer free filtered water, avoiding thereby the unnecessary purchase of extra bottles.

Cons: The room had some mold and there was not enough space for properly hanging the towels to dry.

Quiet and central spot in Cartagena

Pros: Casa Lorenza is centrally located, but in a quiet street. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is hot water! Breakfast is great, with lots of options.

Cons: Everything was great!

Value for the money

Pros: Location near the old city with walkable distance and good breakfast

Cons: A bit of noisy just outside the busy streets
