A lovely property for a large group. Perfectly located. Serene and romantic.

Pros: The property was lovely. Large rooms. Comfortable common seating areas. The photos matched the reality. The lift/elevator was helpful when carrying items from one floor to another. A few nights we engaged the cook to stay and cook dinner for us - fabulous meals (bbq and seafood) ! Memory makers ! The staff were all pleasant and responded to requests Eg laundry, shopping recommendations. Special call out to Victor who was charming & intuitive (hard to do when we spoke no Spanish and he spoke no English). The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast meals were nice and filling - order the night before from a menu of about 8 items (select one item for the group). I would recommend this property for a group who intend on enjoying some time in the property and want to be well positioned in the old town.

Cons: These are very small issues & wouldn’t stop me from booking again : the property has a plug in to the message system which results in messages being sent/received via email rather than the standard booking.com message system - it’s inefficient as you can’t see the conversation thread ie you need to go back to every email to pick up the thread. The manager was difficult to contact by phone. We tried for 24hrs - leaving messages and calling - eventually we contacted booking.com directly (we were travelling with Colombian locals and this helped us navigate the system). The plumbing needs a hot water pump - the hot was intermittent and when running was very difficult to regulate to a comfortable temperature (all rooms). Fortunately Cartegena is hot so it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. There is only one bike available for riding. In Colombia, gen Z speak some English but don’t rely on speaking English as the main means of communicating. Learn a few phrases before you arrive. Download an eSIM so you can communicate with a translation app.

Pros: von jessica, roger, alenis, maricela und yessid wurden wir 24h umsorgt und liessen uns keine wünsche offen. sehr schönes, luxuriöses haus , sehr sauber, gute betten, schönes bad. das bestellte essen war hervorragend, auch das frühstück.

Pros: La ubicación es inmejorable. La casa es amplia, está muy limpia, con detalles de calidad. La cocina equipada y las habitaciones con colchones cómodos. La atención es excepcional. Desde quien gestiona las reservas hasta quien prepara el desayuno.

Fabulous experience!

Pros: Breakfast was terrific. My husband has an egg allergy and they accommodated him nicely. Staff was excellent and help use arrange transportation for our large group. The location was so central to restaurants, activities and shopping. Can not say enough. Can't wait to stay again.
