Does the job to stay a few days in the old city of Cartagena.
Pros: The hostel is very well located within the old city of Cartagena. The family room is simple but the mattresses are comfortable. However, you want to consider that to sleep on top of the 3-high bun bed certainly is not suitable for everybody (including smaller children); it's not easy to clim up and it's really high. So we put that mattress on the floor. The hostel provides coffee in the morning and there's a shared fridge but there is no cooking facility. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: You may want to consider that to sleep on top of the 3-high bun bed certainly is not suitable for everybody; it's not easy to clim up and it's really high. So we put that mattress on the floor. It didn't look so high based on the photos.

Pros: The location of this hostel was perfect, and the staff were so helpful and kind. The AC worked well, and the room was very clean and comfortable. It also felt very safe. Ask for a room at the back if you are worried about noise
Cons: There is no shared kitchen- although there is a fridge and microwave you can use.

Noise but in the center
Pros: It’s was easy to find and well located if you wanted to be in the center
Cons: It’s super noisy at night due to being in the middle of the night life

Pros: Great central location in the tourist area in the heart of old walled city. Our room overlooking the street was very spacious with very high ceiling. The staff was nice, free coffee.
Cons: Noisy from the walking crowds and beeping taxis. The bathroom was a bit old, but OK. Only cold water.

we had a great stay
Pros: Great central location in the tourist area in the heart of the old walled city; safe, with shops, restaurants, and street food everywhere. You can walk around in the evening, and most tourist attractions are within walking distance. We had the biggest room with the “French balcony” overlooking the street—a very colorful and lively area. The room was very spacious with a high ceiling. The staff was nice, and free coffee was available. Good air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. I would also like to recommend Dad Tours, whose office is at the entrance. They were recommended to us by the hotel, and after a discussion with the super helpful Jose <3, we booked a 5-island tour + plankton with them. The Dad Tours team was also very helpful with little things, and their tips were valuable. Overall, we had a great stay.
Cons: The great central location in the tourist area had some side effects—it’s a narrow old city street, but it gets noisy from walking crowds and beeping taxis, especially on weekends until 2-3 am. Since our windows overlooked the street, we noticed it more, but I assume it’s not a problem in rooms at the back. Still, we valued more having a balcony with a view. Only cold water, but that’s very common in the whole region. The bathroom was a bit old but acceptable.

I would highly recommend if you are looking for a well located, quiet and clean hostel.
Pros: We stayed in a private family room with a private bathroom. The property was clean, spacious and in a great location In the historic town of Cartagena. Staff are friendly and approachable, someone was always there to buzz us in. There wasn’t large amounts of noise at nighttime except from a nearby hostel.
Cons: The only thing was there wasn’t hot water in the shower. It wasn’t too cold, in fact it was quite refreshing after the heat outside.
