Isla Grande Eco-Hostal

Pros: Quieter end of the island except at the weekend. Meals good. Very friendly staff.

Pros: The hut was spacious, clean and well maintained, we loved the little terrace with hammock and eating area. The common areas are nice and calm. The hostal is run by a family that is so welcoming and nice. There are cute dogs running free, as everywhere on the island. Food was relatively cheap compared to average prices, and also delicious. Cons: Not exactly anything negative about this particular hostal, but remember to bring your (amazon) bug spray, and clothes that dry fast. Mosquitos and humidity are constant. It would have been smart also to bring some snacks from the mainland since everything is quite expensive.

Pros: Beautiful property with charming cottages and a very laid back vibe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant across the street that is affiliated (?) with the hostel. There's two stunning beaches close by. We really enjoyed our stay!

Cons: We were staying during a storm and unfortunately the rain came in through the roof at night. We moved our things away from the walls before they could get wet but I guess it was a bit of an inconvenience. Also, the bed is a little short for people taller than 1,75m.

You have to adapt to a place like this and read. There’s no hurry. It’s family run and they’re all great and friendly. I

Pros: It was relaxed and friendly there. The facilities are basic but it was lovely to chill out and we loved it . We have two children with us and they loved all the dogs and cats in the area and the parrot next door . They loved snorkelling off the nearby beaches..

A little paradise

Pros: The place is a little paradise in the middle of the nature! We loved everything about our stay, and all the dogs around the island are so pretty. With right repellent and bracelets mosquitos didn’t bother much and there was not other insects inside! Food options are a bit limited, but being honest we were completely fine for only 3 days. Also Giovanni was great arranging our transportation to and from the hotel!

Cons: Maybe the fact that there wasn’t AC, but this is a eco hotel so we were ready.

Pros: Great location and peaceful setting. Breakfast is great and the rest of the food at the restaurant is also good. Would recommend

Paradise place

Pros: Location is amazing, a little paradise! Prices of the food in the restaurant are very chip, staff was very kind and helpful. They deliver you the food in your little garden in front of the room, it is extremely pleasant! I hope to be back one day!

A great place in a Caribbean Paradise!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! The family and the staff are very friendly, breakfast was delicious and the restaurant is excellent! We highly recommend to stay here and you will be very close to the best beaches of the island. Thanks to Giovanni and all the staff we felt like at home in the Caribbean and we are looking forward to come back!!

A little paradise

Pros: everything, from Alvaro being so headful and at the Jetty waiting for me from the staff at the hostel . the location , the beautiful cabana . this is a little paradise at a very affordable price

Cons: everything if great , there is nothing to dislike , maybe just bring mosquito repellent , the island has mosquitos and they not friendly
