The Hotel Isla Del Pirata offers you; Restaurant, Bar, Spa, recreation areas and water sports; It is located in the Corales del Rosario National Natural Park, in the insular area of Cartagena de Indias. This establishment includes breakfast in its rate (Bed & Breakfast), and offers Restaurant and Bar service with a wide variety of dishes, cocktails and drinks. The rooms: Suite, Jr. Suite and Standard (Bohíos or Cabañas) present a tropical-style decoration with a palm roof, comfortable beds, have private bathrooms, showers and fans. Some of these are located with direct access to the sea (Suite and Jr. Family Suite). They also include a fan, among other amenities. The Hotel Isla Del Pirata, located in the heart of the reef of the Archipelago of the Rosario Islands, with natural pools and crystal clear waters where you can practice all activities, such as: diving and snorkeling, kayaks, paddle and various tours around the Archipelago. The Hotel has a Reception, dining room, gazebo and terraces with all kinds of suitable furniture such as: sun loungers, sunbeds, loungers, hammocks and various activities such as events and private parties. To get to the establishment, guests will have to take a boat that leaves in the morning at 8:00 a.m. from the Cartagena La Bodeguita Pier, which sails every morning to ISLA DEL PIRATA and returns in the afternoon at 3:00 p.m. to Cartagena. This transport service is supplementary, not included in the accommodation. We have a PASADIAS service (complementary) in which the guest visits the Island in the morning and returns in the afternoon Hours: 09:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with lunch included coordinated with the Headquarters of our office ISLA DEL PIRATA in Cartagena.

Unbeatable location!!

Pros: The location is stunning!!!!! You won’t want to leave the water! Happy I brought my snorkel mask the fish were stunning!! The host Alex made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely kind!! The views were insane!! Great breakfast! Definitely lots of heat you won’t wanna take warm clothes and will live in shorts!

Cons: No AC! So buckle down for hot weather! Don’t stress too much though you got the ocean breeze and fans!!

Charming hotel on small island

Pros: Charming hotel on a small island. Calm and friendly environment, perfect for children, at least aged 10+ like ours. Spacious cabañas with private access to the ocean. Very friendly and collaborative staff. Great breakfast. We will be back!

Cons: The breakfast was really good, but some of the main dishes could be improved.

Great service and chilled hotel to relax

Pros: The staff of this hotel was really exeptional. Attentive and of great service. You have local fishermen selling you lobsters which you can buy directly from them and then you only pay the hotel 50K pesos to cook it for you. We tried it over dinner one day and it was delicious! Food and drinks were reasonably priced and no more expensive than Cartagena. Room was comfortable and breezy with ceiling fans. Overal a great experience.

Cons: Impossible to swim as there are speed boats crossing all the time just 1m from shore and waters are shallow max 140cm depth. There is no shadow on the island. Would have been nice to have some umbrellas or shadowed constructions to lay by the beach. Only option if you wanted to have shadow was to sit inside the restaurant area. Also there is no actual beach, island is super extra small. So nothing bad on the hotel itself, just know what to expect from this island experience.

Pros: Beautiful location. You can snorkel and swim off the hotel. The staff very friendly. Beautiful surrounding.

Cons: The food was uneven for our two night stay. The food and drinks were also very expensive for what was provided.

A great place to relax

Pros: The environment is really nice, not a lot of rooms in the island, we felt quite alone, it was really restful

Cons: Maybe need a bit of cleanup on the back of the island, especially as it is the spot to watch the sunset

Pros: Lewis and Jaime! all of the staff was amazing but in particular these two guys went above and beyond with every request and did it with a great attitude. they are all stars! the hotel is rated a 2 star i think but it feels way more high end. the ocean is spectactular, i could go snorkeling right from the hotel, the rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable with large fans. the loungers were comfy and didn't feel cheap. overall that island was a lot cheaper than the other ones too

Cons: the wait times for food are a little long but at least its a beautiful place to relax and wait :)

Relaxing and rechargig on a remote island!

Pros: the location is wonderful and idyllic! we had a nice time! if you want a stay in nature and a bit remote, this place is perfect. the staff is friendly and it is a quiet relaxing place to recharge. The bungalows are basic but perfect for a couple of days away. The food is good and the swimming spots are wonderful. I recommend the hotel masseur also

Cons: It would have been nice to have been told that there was maintenance going on. we understand we went to a ‘remote’ place which works on generators and to miss a few hours of power per day is fine. To not have water/the toilets working during the day was not so nice. We would have appreciated being told. The contactperson via the hotel was nice and accomodating, nevertheless even though I announced my interest with dates to dive, it took me 24 hours to confirm a diving trip (during a 2 night stay) while the shop was just an island further on another resort. Due to power outages I was not reachable and my attempts via local personnel that new the instructors were unsuccesful. gladly I could make 1 dive on the day of deprture.
