Hotel Isla del Encanto

Awesome spot and staff.

Pros: Perfect spot, pool and beach. The staff was just smiling and caring. Huge thumbs up for Marcelo who took perfect care of us. The housecleaning everyday was spotless.

Cons: Some improvements could be made on the onboard menus. A bit less rice options ;-).

Wonderful

Pros: Our time at Encanto was truly magical. It is a wonderful hotel the staff, food, ambiance and facilities were very luxurious. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Every staff member went above and beyond though Chris with his thoughtfulness, perfect English, wealth of information and warmth especially made our trip. Even cheeky Coco the resident macaw made us feel welcome in both English and Spanish shouting hello and hola at regular intervals while entertaining us trying to obtain food or break into the kitchen like a little bandit. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Cons: Nothing. We loved everything about this hotel

Pros: We had an amazing time here for a romantic night away. The views are incredible, the pool was nice and the food was pretty good too.

Cons: We only stayed for 1 night and it was great but really by the time you’ve got there it basically feels like it’s time to leave! If you are able to afford and have time (we could not lol) I would recommend staying for 2 nights at least so you get a full day here.

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather not cooperating

Amazing staff that knows how to manage and serve their guests

Pros: Amazing Staff. They really make sure that you feel good and have a great time at the hotel. Big thank you to Eduardo which takes of everything and to Samuel and Christopher which served us at breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Cons: Overall great location but I think the hotel would need a refurbishment. Some parts at the pool are a bit worn out. I think if the hotel invests a bit in the infrastructure this can become a hidden gem on the island.

Pros: The breakfast and the quality of dining. The kindness of the staff and availability. The architecture of the hotel.

Cons: The swimming pool needs to be renovated and I suggest to make it safer for children.

This is a good hotel which with better management could be exceptional.

Pros: The property is located at the end of the Baru peninsular and the grounds are mainly well maintained and beautiful. The room was very comfortable indeed. The pool is salt water but very pleasant.

Cons: The food was very second rate. Breakfast was substantial and the fruit is excellent, but lunch and supper are dismal. The starter options are the same daily: a very dull salad, or soup (in a boiling hot country). The quality and presentation of the food is not good. And the chef has a passion for decorating the plates with multi-coloured mayonnaise. Breakfast is served strictly between 7am and 9am. Far too early when you are on vacation. Not a single cupboard or drawer to store your clothes. This is NOT an all inclusive hotel: it is full board, and you pay for any additional food/drinks items throughout the day.

Outstanding place

Pros: Everything!!! Our stay at the hotel was worth every minute, from the boat ride from the dock to our return. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is very typical and delicious. If you are looking for a place to really disconnect, relax in front of the beach and enjoy the advantages of being on an island, Islas del Encanto is the place. Many thabks to Dennise, Christian, Alicia, Martin and Lore for your outstanding service.

Cons: If I had to mention something bad it would be the attitude of the guy who is in charge of providing the small boat for free activities as he was suppposed to offer us 2 boats but only just gave us 1 without having any other guests waiting and all the small boat available.

Perfect relaxing resort

Pros: Our room was spacious, and clean with a very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Perfect relaxing ambiance! The personnel was very nice, helpful, and friendly. Thank you very much for everything!

Pros: The whole property was brilliantly maintained and very well integrated in the natural surroundings. The staff were super helpful and accommodating.

Cons: Not very child friendly - even though the staff tried to accommodate our child's food requests, the menu options for children were quite limited.
