Vista Mare Beach House

Pros: Great property to relax and to escape the buzzling of Cartagena. Amazing breakfast, clean and cute cabañas.

Cons: Staff was always super nice, however, also often a bit sloppy with the orders. It often takes quite long until you get what you ordered (food might be understandable, drinks on the other hand, especially beer or a glas of wine, should be much quicker). Other than that everything was amazing and I can Highway recommend a stay.

Stunning

Pros: A little bit of peace! Lovely little hotel with stunning rooms

Cons: Calmness with a lovely little beach.

Pros: Very nice and comfortable. Big garden area with pool, nice beach area and furniture.

Cons: The transport back to Cartagena were only at 12 or 17 on departure day, even though we were told they had multiple other departure times.

Pros: I stayed in this hotel for the 2nd time - previously exactly 1 year ago. I must admit that the change is visible and it is a good thing. The service is better. The rooms are cleaner. The food is good, although too expensive, not worth the money. But in general - everything was fine.

Recomendable place

Pros: It was very nice, rooms and bathroom very nice. Staff super nice and friendly and helpful. Pretty communal areas too. Our hut was wonderful and very private Nice welcome from everyone

Cons: Restaurant was bad value for money and not very good. Also our room was next to kitchen of neighbouring hotel and very noisy in the morning Unfortunately Tierra bomba is only cosmetically clean on the expensive side, but plastic and dirt all around A tip for the staff is not to give the welcome cocktail at the landing when you have to walk to reception, check in and go to your hut with your drink in your hand. Either make people sit down while you do the check in for them and let people enjoy the drink or give the drink after check-in and let people settle in after with their drink at the bar. I had sticky everything and a warm half glass of welcome cocktail once I got round to it in the heat.

Pros: Very close to Cartagena, beautiful facilities, private beach, pool on site and in room lots of hammocks and lounge areas. Staff very friendly and helpful

Cons: Food was excellent but very pricey

Paradiso

Pros: The pool and hotel and rooms are done out very nicely and are well maintained. It’s a very relaxing space and the staff in the main are very helpful and accommodating.

Cons: The hotel could do with more sunloungers around the pool as opposed to deckchairs and a little more information of the surrounding things on the island would be good. It would be to have a small area to buy snacks and drinks.

Fantastic vacation!

Pros: We stayed 4 days at Vista Mare and felt very comfortable! The room was very clean and the garden with the pool and outdoor shower were fantastic! The food was lovingly prepared and we could eat at different places which was very romantic. The beach is very nice and you get your own deck chairs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend the Vista Mare Beach House!

great stay with room for improvement for the service in the restaurant

Pros: very nice located at the beach. very quiet. we liked it. private beach. your own bench. nice room with an outdoor shower. lots of privacy.

Cons: the service in the restaurant is very very slow. we waited for one hour just for a club sandwich and we had been the only customer at that time. breakfast also very small and only one dish included. for the room price I would expect more. needs to be improved.
