Fenix Beach Cartagena

Was very relaxing and restful. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Pros: Good location and only about 10-15min away from Cartagena. Its a very relaxing place.

Cons: In my opinion the hotel could do more against plastic and other waste on the island, beach and water. There are garbage cans, however due to the strong wind in the evenings it would be important to empty them regularly that the wind can not take the garbage. It was not messy but there is potential to improve this.

Pros: Beach club Is great for city getaway. 3 day tops. Looks very Nice in the nature .

Cons: There Is not possibility to change money of buy cigarets. There Is not normal shop. Only that beach club and what you have there thats it. Sea its not clean.

Cons: Rooms are very basic and not up to standard for the high end prices. Bartenders need to update their cocktail skills. Usually not too fuzzy about drinks, but for COP 60k per drink one should expect the best, not a watery drink with wrong ingredients (tried multiple).

Pros: The location was perfect. Loved the beach and the sunbeds- perfect for relaxing and switching off. I liked the natural aesthetic of the resort. The service was friendly, welcoming and a huge thank you to Lida for exceptional service. Lida also was a fantastic yoga teacher- I would recommend going to her class on the beach in the morning. Classes are short- under 30 mins and mainly involved breath work and connecting with nature- very special! Food was good, cocktails were fabulous, expect longer than usual waiting times for food & drinks- but maybe this is island life. There were a few vegan options which I was pleased about. Overall we loved our stay and would love to return one day. Thanks Fenix.

Cons: We were separated with our luggage on the boat over from Cartegena by the Fenix staff arranging the boats- our bags went off on another boat which caused us stress. My suggestion would be to put customers and their luggage on the same boat as eachother.

Pros: The peace, service, clean and comfty rooms. Everything was awesome, the food is amazing

Nice relaxing beach resort but has the potential to be so much better.

Pros: It’s on a lovely beach and it’s a relaxing atmosphere. We had a really nice stay and the onsite restaurant was good quality and variety.

Cons: There are a lot of staff but service is often slow and not well coordinated. There a lot of dogs on the property (who were all friendly) but it would not be a great place if you don’t like dogs. Also the rooms were much more tired than the pictures and it’s cold water only in the showers.

Great for an island getaway out of the city.

Pros: The customer service from the staff was excellent. It’s a great location, with good services on the island.

Cons: The signage could be improved for where things are located at the hotel. There weren’t enough staff at the beach. The air conditioning in the room was quite loud and the window to the balcony didn’t close properly. There wasn’t much information about the daily activities on the island.

Pros: We really liked the vibe and the location. The staff was very kind, the dinner area is very romantic and there is a dj playing soft music usually. Overall, very much recommended.
