Eco-Camping Mango Feliz Rincón del Mar

Loved it - 100% recommend

Pros: Beautiful nature, calm, great concept, great chill areas, great hosts !! Thank you Cecile and Glomar :) We reserved 3 nights and stayed 7, would have loved to do more !

Pros: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The room was comfortable to sleep in, even without a fan or air conditioning. The food was also excellent. This place is a great example of how an eco-friendly philosophy can be put into practice in a simple, thoughtful way.

Best option in Rincon for nature lovers.

Pros: We loved everything about Mango Feliz, but most of all the location, away from noisy Rincon and still close enough to get to the beach within a short walk. Fully surrounded by nature, nice spacious huts, comfy beds. The temperature at night is just perfect, no fan needed, and barely any mosquitos. Great food options and staff that did their best to accommodate our special requests. Also loved their approach to sustainable tourism. Cecilia and her team have been super attentive and helpful. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Cons: Nothing really. The only thing I can think of is the shower. Some more privacy / less open, but not really an issue.

Pros: You will have booked for 3 nights and will want to stay 10. Enjoying the sound of nature and everything that comes with it was an experience to itself. The green initiatives are countless at Mango Feliz and explained in a tour offered by Cécile which I strongly recommend for you to get a better idea of the place. The food is delicious, homemade and local. The staff is really kind and caring and the land has something magical to it. Mango feliz is the highlight of my holiday!

Beautiful spot

Pros: I only stayed for 1 night during Easter when my other hostel was full. Wow, I wish I could have stayed longer. Complete tranquility with only the sound of the wind in the trees and the birds… Bit of a walk to the beach but beautiful and the chance to spot sloths! Owner is amazing and sits you down when you arrive to explain everything. She has created amazing places to sleep where the breeze can creep in during the night.

Pros: Excellent location if you like a quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature. Very sustainable.

Pros: I came for 2 nights and stayed for 10, while diving in the area. Mango Feliz can truly claim the 'eco' tag; the crew is wonderful, the only sound at night are animals and one of 5 kinds of mangos falling from the trees waiting for you to eat in the morning, there are almost no mosquitos compared to places closer to the beach, the food they make is great and affordable, etc etc:) A pleasant 10 min walk through fields and mangroves from the cleanest and quietest beach of Rincon del Mar. Would 100% return if I visit the area again.

Pros: De tout mon voyage, c’est le meilleur hospedaje où je suis allé. J’avais prévu de passer 3 nuits, au final resté une semaine. J’ai adoré le cadre général, très calme et à l’écart des autres hôtels concentrés sur la plage et plus festifs. Ici on est littéralement sous les manguiers qui donnent une ombre agréable en journée. Je suis venu en période de tempête et on a eu aucune inondation ni vent violent car protégé par la mangrove. La plage et Rincon sont à 15 min à pied ou moins par bâteau taxi. Nuits en hamac confortables. Douche et toilettes rustiques mais écologiques 🍃 on peut utiliser la cuisine pour faire ses repas. Cécile vous accueillera à merveille et vous donnera toutes les infos utiles. Petit bonus paresseux qui viennent se nourrir des feuilles fraîches de manguiers 🦥

Lieu calme et paisible au coeur de la forêt

Pros: Un lieu paisible parfait pour se reposer ou même travailler. Tout est fait de manière écologique, toilettes sèches, panneaux solaires, etc. Si vous souhaitez découvrir ce mode de vie plus simple et durable c'est juste parfait.
