Santa Lova Eco-hostel Isla Tintipan

Pros: Amazing place with a beautiful atmosphere.. they have many activities and the food is very tasty!

Pros: Paradise on Earth! Amazing atmosphere, comfy shared room, good food.

Cons: Juan was great, but most of the staff not super friendly. Also, music kept playing during quite long into the night.

Pros: Staff were so friendly, affordable food prices, really good food, very very relaxing. One of our fave hostels in Colombia!

Cons: There was 0 wifi. They say theres Starlink but there wasnt, which was dissapointing.

Pros: There is everything you need on an island, lots of places to just relax but also the option to do tours. I found it easy to meet new people because lunch and dinner are usually served at the same time for everyone. Staff and volunteers are nice and helpful and there is water, tea and coffee all day for a little extra fee. The value for money is definitely good at Santa Lova and I would definitely come back.

Cons: Some of the activities advertised never took place, that was a bit sad, especially as a solo traveler.

An undiscovered paradise, where nothing is expected of you!

Pros: Absolutely a paradise: here, there’s nothing to do but relax and meet fellow travelers. The location also offers some light entertainment — kayaking (though only one of the kayaks is really in good condition), pétanque, board games, and more. You can chill by the water in one of the comfy chairs or loungers. In the evening, the shared dining area/restaurant turns into a lively and cozy spot. We also loved having the toucan hanging around — such a fun little companion!

Cons: If you’re staying here for a few days, the menu can feel a bit repetitive. But since you’re on an island, that’s to be expected of course! For some of the staff, working here seems to be more of a chore — and it shows. Everyone can have an off day, of course, but at times it was a bit uncomfortable to ask certain people for something.

Pros: Great stay. Beautiful facilities, lovely food and staff. Would highly recommend, thank you.

Pros: Had an amazing few days at Santa Lova. Staff are really nice and facilities were great. Could swim out the front and go out snorkelling. Food was also great even if options mostly limited to the fish option or a veggie option. Rooms good condition and clean. The night time bio-luminescent tour is a MUST DO! I've done it in other places around the world and this was best I've done.

Cons: No complaints, but things you should know before coming. You can't leave on your own as you're surrounded by mangroves or ocean, so if you want to go elsewhere you have to organise a boat pickup or trip. Everything costs extra, like food, equipment rental, extra transport, etc. Bring cash! But all worth the journey. Beautiful place.

Pros: Super nice mix between relaxing and activities/fun

Pros: Amazing hostel right where you dream you could be! Extended 2 nights because of so many reasons. Food is super fine, drinks are super fresco and the staff is extremely friendly. All the tours hit different and they have a toucan named tuk tuk. Love it will be back next trip. Special thanks to Andrea and Pablo. You made the trip even better.

Come for the chilled vibes

Pros: Lovely hostel with a very chilled and friendly vibe. I loved having direct access to the sea, with a variety of places to relax (hammocks, sun loungers). It's intimate and easy to meet people and it's also large enough so you can have your own space. The common areas are really nicely decorated and has great music all day. I loved my 3 day stay and could have stayed a lot longer!
