Comfortable stay, super helpful staff!
Pros: Great value stay! The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful in all respects. See about the neighbourhood below, but the hotel itself is secure with 24 hour reception and very responsive on WhatsApp.
Cons: I knew this going in, but the location is dark and deserted in the evening, so better to taxi and not go walking around then.

Cons: They asked for a bank transfer to secure my booking,, what stressed me a bit. I have no idea if and how I can transfer money to a Colombian Account. But when I wrote it, it was okay.

Pros: Amazing people at the reception, made me feel safe and helped me a lot my first day ever in Latin America. They took me to currency exchange office and called cheap taxi for me to save me from getting ripped of by greedy taxi drivers. Thank you ❤️❤️

Pros: Once you get inside this place is a paradise you don’t have to leave, the staff were friendly enough to have food and pharmaceuticals brought to the hotel. Private security escort you to and from your taxi in and out of the hotel. Dinner was fantastic and cheap. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and great value for money. Service from the staff was some of the best I have experienced.
Cons: The location is not fantastic and didn’t feel all that safe (it’s located in a commercial area, lots of mechanics and tyre shops ect). We stayed overnight to get a flight so it was perfect for us

Nice helpful staff, nice room, good restaurant in Barranquilla.
Pros: The location is nice during the day. It's a busy area with a big bustling local market nearby. The staff was nice and amazingly helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good and very reasonably priced.
Cons: It's not a super great neighborhood at night. It's not the hotel's fault, and they are very secure and safe and take all the proper precautions.

Pros: The Costa del Mar accommodation is ideal for resting, it has a location relatively close to the zoo and the Prado portal, the hotel's work team is very helpful and friendly, they helped us carry our suitcases (quite heavy) to the room that was up to the third floor), our room had a balcony and a pleasant view. In the morning the receptionist usually offers coffee which I find charming and welcoming. The bed in general is comfortable, we had good ventilation and the hotel has a kind of room that has a waterfall and various decorations.
Cons: Really the only thing that was not pleasant was arriving at night after going out to see the city and the entrance to the hotel was wet, it seemed like a pipe had broken

Honest lovely friendly hotel
Pros: The staff is incredibly nice, i stayed over a week and it's a safe place to stay, the entrance and reception is manned 24/7. They're also setting up a coffee place inside with AC, I had their 1st breakfast there, unfortunately the expresso machine wasn't ready. It's 6 min from Transmetro bus which i used a lot. Most of the time its quiet and i had a room away from the street, you'll only hear people inside the hotel. Small issues were fixed. Davivienda has 0 commision with Revolut on the corner with the city bus an food is cheap 3 streets up north. Good laundry service! A very cost efficient neighbourhood. Not sure if they speak English, but they'll take care of foreigners, i used my silly spanish. Room exactly like photos
Cons: It's not a complaint but it seems to be a feature of this part of the world: thermo efficiency, you need the AC on all the time, thin windows, walls, and the way everything seals lets the heat inside almost instantly. It's not the best looking part of the city but seems to be Barranquilla's own \
