Pros: Que esté sobre la playa. La vista. Las comidas. La buena predisposición de Khalet.
Cons: Se tapaba el inodoro. Se suma una comisión por pago con tarjeta.

Schönes sauberes Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick
Pros: Wenn man Barú besucht, sollte man sich bewusst sein, wohin man geht: Jeglicher Strom wird mit Generatoren erzeugt, Wasser wird täglich aus dem Meer gepumpt und entsalzt, Frischwasser wird mit dem Boot gebracht – nichts ist dort selbstverständlich. Vor diesem Hintergrund sollten auch die Unterkünfte beurteilt werden. Und Cabañas W macht in dieser Hinsicht einen wirklich grossartigen Job. Wir hatten eine Unterkunft mit Meerblick und ein wunderschönes Zimmer (wahrscheinlich eines der schönsten meiner gesamten Kolumbien-Reise). Alles war sehr sauber, das Bett und die Kissen bequem, und die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Wenn ich mir andere Unterkünfte auf Barú anschaue, würde ich jederzeit wieder Cabañas W wählen.
Cons: Das Frühstück ist gut, allerdings sehr begrenzt: Man kann zwischen Spiegel- oder Rührei wählen, jeweils mit Toast oder Arepas – mehr Optionen gibt es nicht. Mit etwas mehr Liebe zum Detail könnte man sich hier rundum wohlfühlen, allerdings gibt es auch ein paar Minuspunkte: Während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts lag zwischen den Liegestühlen durchgehend derselbe Müll. Wir haben ihn schliesslich selbst entsorgt, nachdem wir abgewartet hatten, ob er entfernt wird. Eines Morgens machte ein Hund direkt vor unseren Liegestühlen sein Geschäft. Mein Freund bat einen Angestellten, dies zu entfernen. Dieser meinte, er schaue, kam jedoch zurück und sagte, sie hätten nichts zum Saubermachen. Mein Freund nahm daraufhin selbst eine Schaufel, die direkt am Zaun lehnte, und räumte den Haufen weg, damit niemand hineintritt. Die Musik: Ich verstehe, dass Musik dazugehört, aber während unseres Aufenthalts waren überwiegend Ü40-Gäste vor Ort – nicht unbedingt das Zielpublikum für sehr lauten heavy duty Latino Trap, dessen Bass zeitweise die Wände unseres Zimmers zum Vibrieren brachte (immerhin herrscht ab 22:00 Uhr Ruhe). Die Mitarbeitenden (mit Ausnahme der Zimmermädchen, die grossartig waren) wirkten insgesamt eher distanziert und nicht besonders gastfreundlich. Um die Füsse vom Sand zu befreien hat es einen Kübel mit Wasser, welches alle 2 Tage gewechselt wird. Wenn man sich all die Füsse darin vorstellt, ist das etwas unhygienisch.

Pros: La ubicación, limpieza, la amabilidad del personal. La habitación confortable y con la vista al mar espectacular. Los alimentos muy ricos y bien preparados.

Excellent!
Pros: Literally in the heart of the beach and it’s not too packed, very quiet. The food was surprisingly, extremely good and the people super chill with front spot right there on the beach.
Cons: No issues AT ALL had with the property, but there are a lot of vendors and you just have to prepare yourself mentally to say no and be OK with saying no and walking away in that way you don’t waste 10 more minutes of your time. What they’ll do is ask your name and make it seem like they’re wanting to know more about you when in fact they’re actually trying to set you up to Buy something. Recommendation would be either to get in the water or to go near the bar area where they don’t typically go. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t recommend the place because I still do, just something to consider and that’s anywhere on this area so don’t think it changes at a other hotel

Excellet Retreat in Baru
Pros: Excellent boutique hotel in Baru Island! Great staff. Delicious food. Comfortable beds. Good Wi-Fi. Quiet time at night; no parties. Good place to enjoy the sun and relax in the evening. Thank you for everything. I had a good time.
Cons: Just like most of Caribbean coast, you won't find hot water. Not a big deal. Breakfast pretty basic but tasty. I was woken up to some other clients blasting music on the third floor at 6am. Zero consideration for other guests. And I guess it's normal in Colombia. Also, do not order Island Baru Pizza (it's not pizza).

Pros: La atención impecable, muy amable todo el personal desde calentarnos agua para el mate hasta cuidarnos las pertenencias mientras estabamos en la playa. Nos ofrecieron un trago de cortesía. El desayuno incluía huevos, arepas/pan, fruta y café/chocolate. Muy rico pero creo que podría ser un poco más abundante. Tuvimos habitación con vista, impecable, sinceramente fue espectacular. La zona de playa justo enfrente del hotel tiene algunas piedras pero a 10 metros ya hay un gran sector libre de piedras. Algo muy importante a destacar es que ofrecen irte a buscar en carromoto desde donde te deja el Uber (si es que eligen esta opcion para llegar a Baru y no la lancha) ya que en ese parqueadero hay muchas personas ofreciendote de manera poco amable llevarte o llevarte los bolsos lo cual NO se recomienda aceptar. Asi que valoro mucho que ofrezcan esta opción. De todos modos si tuviese que volver a Barú no lo haría por tierra desde Cartagena sino por lancha.
Cons: La puerta del baño no cerraba bien, considero que podría arreglarse fácilmente.

El mejor lugar de Playa Blanca
Pros: El sitio está muy bien atendido, el personal es super amable y atento. Tiene sus propias camas de playa gratuitas para los huéspedes (cosa que en la zona no suele pasar), limpian todo mucho y con mucha frecuencia. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas, casi no hubo cortes de luz. Buen desayuno y muy buena comida a la carta.
Cons: El agua de la ducha es solo del tiempo, no hay caliente. La playa es muy bonita pero es una pena que esté llena de basura, lanchas y vendedores (de esto el hotel no tiene culpa, pero pierde el encanto)
