Cabaña Coral Azul

Pros: Fabulous upstairs room with balcony (#8) in this friendly & super clean hotel overlooking the beautiful white sands of Playa Blanca. The sea is 10m from the front door and it is sooo restful to hear the waves as you drop off to sleep. All the staff are attentive, happy and will do anything to help. Big thanks especially to Paola and Sergio who looked after us for drinks and meals.

Excellent option on Playa Blanca

Pros: Staff was really nice - especially Valentina took really good care of her guests. Great beach - enough space between property and water. Nice beach chairs. Very clean. Internet worked well. Air condition efficient. Fan available. Nice balcony and view. Breakfast included - basic Columbian choices. Good value. Restaurant - good choices. Reliably arranged transfer from Cartagena by land/taxi. Return ransfer to Cartagena available by boot (speed boat & regular boat). Reliable communication before the visit. Tour operator on sight. Clean beach. Highly recommend this property.

Cons: If you decide to go to playa blanca this is definitely one of the best and most comfortable choices. However - Picking the location you have to be aware of a couple of things: Of course you are next to the water - at night, the sea is loud. Music from surrounding places wasn't too loud when I was there, but could potentially be. Many day tourists visiting. Many boats with motors running or jet skis - sometimes the smell is unbearable. Many people in reviews complained about the vendors. I found they were very friendly and a No Gracias would always suffice. Dogs & cats on the beach are friendly but many are a poor sight (maltreated, in poor shape). Water - conserving water and energy is very important. That being said - full pressured showers at restricted times mornings and evenings only. 15 min beach walk from parking - so avoid a big (wheeled) suit case. I definitely recommend the property.

Little cozy getaway

Pros: Loved this hotel. The location is perfect, away from the hustle of the area near the parking lot. You have so much peace and quiet, with direct access to the beach. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They were there to help us with anything. The owner is particular is super sweet and ready to make your stay more comfortable. The triple room with the balcony is a must. You will have the most amazing sunsets directly from your room. The breakfast is quite complete, you get to choose from a few options. The restaurant in general is one of the best places to eat at on this strip of the beach and the staff is super lovely.

Cons: The water pressure in the shower is very low and the wifi connection is quite poor

Pros: The staff is super polite and helpful, they really do everything to make your stay relaxing and joyful. The A/C is a super plus as most of the places nearby don’t have not even own bathroom, and water during the day. In this accommodation instead we had all our comfort. ( if there was a a little problem with the system , Steven always solved everything immediately )

Cons: The only bad experience we had ( even if I know it’s not the accommodation’s fault) was on our last day when exactly in front of the accomodation at 7 a.m they started to fill up the water pipes of the “ island” from a boat and the compressor was extremely loud and they have ruined our last morning in Paradise😭. It has lasted at least an hour and a half. If you were outside you couldn’t even have a conversation it was so loud.

Perfect paradise

Pros: Everything was perfect the view the room the food the staff everything it's definitely a place you should visit ,everyone deserves to be served and catered as they do at least once in a lifetime this will be our go to from now on

Cons: Please arrange with staff to arrive via boat and leave via boat makes life sooo much easier and only book tours with hotel

Pros: Room with a balcony was really nice. Got bit warm during the night but you can pay extra for airco or book room with airco straight away. Breakfast was really tasty and the staff was attentive. The hotel is at the quieter part of Playa blanca, the other spots are too crowded ao we really enjoyed.

Cons: Make sure to not let anyone try and help you with the luggage (at the parking spot random people will try to do this and then charge you for it). Arrange someone from the hotel to pick you up at the parking and only let them accompany you and help you with luggage.

Todo perfecto

Pros: Wszystko, todo, everything great. The Best place in Baru. Hotel is new, with Perfect view and well-equipped rooms with big beds. Quiet area. Very helpful spanish and english speaking staff ❤️❤️❤️
