Nice stay in Baru
Pros: We had a great time at this hotel. To properly appreciate the place, you need to consider its setting: it is located right in front of the sea, with direct access to the beach, in a small and rather isolated village. Given the seaside environment and the effects of salt erosion, we found the hotel to be clean and very comfortable. Our experience was a bit different because the weather was not great, so we ended up spending most of our time at the hotel and were quite isolated from the rest of the village. It was great, on top of our room with sea view. The staff were lovely, from the kitchen team to housekeeping. A special mention goes to our champion, dear Christian! We also enjoyed some great conversations with our Italian friend Alessandro, who added a nice European touch to the management of this hotel :)
Cons: Nothing major to complain about. Perhaps the restaurant prices were a bit high, but again, you have to consider the context: it’s an isolated location and a small business. We understood and accepted it.

Pros: One of the best hotel on the coast. Great location, nice staff and great view. The sea is amazing.
Cons: If you are a light sleeper think about noise and you can feel the whole house is shaking while you're laying in bed because of the comstructon of the building.

Lovely stay with lovely people
Pros: The location was great - playa Blanca can be busy and noisy but the hotel had a good position where it was not too hectic. The staff was super friendly, food was good and our room was spacious and had an amazing balcony with a great view. The staff and all other people helping there were very friendly helpful and welcoming. They also helped with tips to get there and excursion etc. we went there with a driver they recommended which was 100k COP. But in the end I think boat from Cartagena would have been the better option. A bit faster and cheaper.
Cons: Part of the interior and sun-beds are already quite worn down. Well, it’s an island still.

Pros: Beautiful sea view room, very special and with a spectacular view. Very helpful and kind staff. Good food and walking I could say that the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful spots on the coast

Amazing, relaxing stay with great staff and tasteful restaurant!
Pros: The service at this hotel was really great. We spent four nights to relax at the beach after our month travelling throughout Colombia, and the people working at this hotel are really amazing. Very helpful and kind. They also helped us organizing trips to Plancton and diving. And last, but not least, the restaurant is perfect! They offer a big variance of food and everything is very tasteful. Even guests from other hotels are coming to this place for their dinner!
Cons: Actually nothing. In the beginning the beach feels Colombian busy, but after a day you start to realize how relaxed the atmosphere is at this hotel and the beach belonging to the hotel.

We loved our stay, we had a super local, enjoyable and chill feeling of vacation on a beach.
Pros: We loved the beach and the facilities, the room with the view was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner were also great. We also liked the options of experiences.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower and toilet.

Best hotel in this area.
Pros: Compared to other hotels at the coast it was the best looking and where the most people are. The other hotels looked kind of dead. Food was delicious and compared to other hotels cheap. Room is big. Beach chairs and umbrella for free.
Cons: AC only in the night, when you have a room with windows to the backside you can smell the diesel generator…also its quite loud at night. Wifi was often not stable.
