Hotel Isla Palma Reserva Natural

Pros: Isla Palma is beautiful, the staff is very friendly. Beach is clean, with great facilities and amenities. The rooms are a bit noisy, you can hear your neighbors. Food is ok. Might be very full during the day because of the day travelers, so make sure you reserve your desired chair in advance

Wonderful beaches

Pros: The island is simply Stunning, the beach is breath taking... un lugar maravilloso. Very cleaned the staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The hotel facilities are dated, the bathroom need TLC,and the Biopark staff should be better trained to answer simple questions about the area's flora and fauna.

Pleasant

Pros: Nice place, good facilities, comfortable. WiFi not great.

Cons: There was a horrible smell of sewage coming from the bathroom during the night. It was horrendous and made it difficult to use the bathroom even in the morning. The smell would then linger into the room.

Paradise

Pros: The beach was clean and beautiful and calm. The staff were very friendly.

Cons: The dinner buffet could be better

Pros: Fantastic place. One of the best beaches in Colombia. You can actually swim with little coral fish. The place has many animals to see when you take the eco hike. It's quiet and calm. Also there's activities to do during the day and night.

Cons: The prices for food from the menu are a Little high considering the quality of some products. Food from the buffet is also expensive but the offer and the quality is worse. So that's something to improve.

Pros: Beautiful hotel with many places to sit down and relax, very helpful staff, comfortable beds and pillows. Great place to spend a couple of days and relax, it’s worth your money.

Cons: Sometimes long waiting time to order a drink/food and very expensive cocktails.

Beautiful, relaxing island with plenty of wildlife

Pros: - Beautiful island and great private beach that hotel guests can access. The colour and temperature of the sea was incredible. Also great that there were plenty of well located sun beds for guests to access along the route to the beach. - the room was a good size, had air con at night and the bed was comfy - the option of a daily walk around the bio park was excellent and we saw flamingos, iguanas, monkeys and turtles on our walk. - Great massage which was good value for money - although the buffet lacked many vegetarian options the chef was always willing to make something for me - the island seemed to mainly have local tourists which was great - nice pool area: good temperature and liked the jacuzzi feature

Cons: - Water is turned off from 12am until early morning. I don’t really understand the rationale for this as most people would be asleep at that time so they are not saving much water by doing this and it is annoying to have to plan ahead and fill up a bottle of water to wash face and teeth etc. - the buffet food that most guests eat wasn’t great for people with dietary requirements like vegetarian / vegan, but as stated above, the chef was always willing to make something. They had a non dairy oat milk available one day at breakfast but it would be good if this could be available daily. - wine selection is very limited. It would be great if they could have a wider selection and also offer prices by the glass. - the hotel staff tried to put us off crossing the island to go for a drink at Mística hostel. I don’t really understand why as we enjoyed going there after dinner rather than staying in the same resort all day.
