Pleasant international style hotel

Pros: The attraction of this hotel is the proximity to the sea, albeit with a massive dual carriageway between building and ocean, and easy access to the airport. It is also a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the old town of Cartagena. The rooms are fine and it is pretty easy to take Ubers around and about. I really liked the little restaurants and bars right next door - much cheaper of course than eating and drinking at the Ibis itself. The beach was fine but the sea was pretty rough - I found that my 'swimming' was confined to diving into the breakers.

Cons: I'm not sure if the rooms were value for money. The hotel has something like 18 floors - it's a little corporate. But it's a reliable option. This is nothing to do with Ibis, but I took the Five Islands tour and would give it 5/10. I envisaged lots of swimming in clear blue seas but in fact it was a more regimented than that and a lot of the time I suspected I was being held captive to various people trying to get me to spend money. But don't take my word as law - I reckon the younger you are (ie 18-30) the more likely you are to think the whole thing is a blast. But don't go if you get seasick!

Pros: The room was confortable although a bit small but the sea views were lovely. The staff was very friendly.

Cons: The breakfast was very simple and quite pricy for what it was.

A great location with walking distance to old town and shops. Close to airport for a short taxi ride

Pros: The location was great - easy access to old town and close to airport. The area felt safe and it was a reasonable walk everywhere.

Cons: The windows in the room cannot open even one mm. It makes one feel distant from the world. The hotel breakfast was very starchy and coffee was scarce?

Good view improve on customer service need it

Pros: The room was an ibis standard bussiness room and the view was amazing.

Cons: No amenities, the bathroom had one dispenser for soap and another dispenser of shampoo in the shower and two paper cups instead of glass cup and diferente amenities. The attention of the staff was formal but not nicer at all, the only person warm and kind were the security ones, they help me with my bags and to find a taxi, I’m use to more nice and kind treatment in Cartagena than the one I got from the front desk people . I did not get even a bottle of water of courtesy, awareness of the things I can find on my surroundings or any additional information same at checkout time not offer to help or to call a taxi, I’m happy I only spent one night there.

Pros: everything went well. I love this hotel. Great location and very nice staff. Rooms are clean. I will come back there when i will be in Colombia. A special thanks to Mrs Grace , she is very professional and very kind

Cons: nothing bad, everything was good. Also the breakfast was great . wifi is working good

Pros: Decent stay in Cartagena, classical Ibis hotel and quality as you would expect it. Loved the view from the room, facing the sea.

Cons: It's ideal for a short stay, but not for a longer one, as the rooms have no personality.

Pros: Locationl, the employee arranged to bring the missing pillow and comforter for my daughter..

Cons: I expected nicer staff....with smile and polite behaviour, in others hotel its normal habbit..

Good hotel. You know what you are getting. Not in a good area.

Pros: The room was quite on the 20th floor, breakfast was very good with a great choice. Personally I didn't like the location and I felt a little unsafe. On the day that I arrived there was a lot of police around the area which din't feel me with confidence. It is a good 20 minutes walk to the old part of the town in the centre.

Cons: I didn't like the location, a little far away from the centre.
