Casa del Puerto Hostel & Suites

Nice hotel. Good vibes. Location only good for dock/port

Pros: Nice pool. Rooms were clean. Bar staff lovely/ chatty. They made great drinks. Chill areas next to the pool + tables. Kitchen facilities. Next to the port, perfect the night before departing on a boat trip. Restaurants near the dock was nice.

Cons: Not many facilities nearby, no bars, only a few good restaurants. Not nearby the central area, needed to get an uber into town.

Pros: Staff - especially Carlos, Elkin, Luis and cleaning service is perfect. Very familiar

Pros: - Nice pool area - friendly staff - luggage storage while going to the islands - free coffee - free Salsa class - comfy beds with curtains and power sockets

Cons: - To get to the old town it’s 20-30 mins walk which adds up if you go and come back several times a day. But the advantage of this is that you‘re not in the middle of that busy madness ;) - Some of my food got stolen from then kitchen :( However I told one of the staff members and he said they‘re thinking to do a sticker system. When I was there, there was no possibility to label your food.

Pros: Great location and staff, very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to old city and supermarket around the corner. Everything you need for a few days!

Pros: Good location lovely host nice quiet safe area of cartagena only little problem I had was internet conecttion was not great from my room ,I m sure day will fix it.

Pros: Amazing place with great people and really clean too. It's a perfect place to explore Cartagena, it's not in the center (20 mins walking), so you can recharge and relax. The neighborhood is calm and save, and offers everything you need. Just a block from the sea side.

Cons: Unfortunately they don't have blankets so you can be cold at night. Beds are a bit short - I'm 165cm and it was just fine but if someone is taller it can be a problem.

Great place with friendly staff and good location

Pros: Casa del Puerto is an amazing place, the staff is lovely and helpful, they make the place feel like home. The pool and the courtyard are amazing to hang out, meet people and rest after sightseeing. We had one of the rooms next to the pool on the ground floor. It was comfortable.

Cons: In general, the place needs a bit of love, some things are broken, the rooms are quite humid and dont have storage. The kitchen lacks equipment and everything is quite old and used.

Pros: A very nice hostel with a beautiful pool and very affordable.

Cons: On one of the days, many families came in with young children which were playing around the pool screaming all day, but this could have been an unlucky day because the rest of the days of my stay the hostel was very quiet.

Nice staff, safe area, pool & bar were a nice touch.

Pros: Nice pool & bar area & staff available on reception 24/7, felt safe.

Cons: Location is a good 20-30 min walk to main centre. Was very loud early in the mornings. WiFi didn’t work in our room.

Highly recommend

Pros: Great place to stay, close to restaurants, cafes & supermarket. Perfect if you require access to Manga Marina

Cons: Wifi didn’t work in the patio suite
