Hotel La Casona de Getsemani

Pros: Very well located. Room turned over daily with towels etc. tourist information advisory at the reception and 24 hour front desk. Extremely safe location. Air conditioning !!

Cons: Building is older and amenities (bathroom) etc are a bit older as a result.

Pros: Excellent location,free coffee was nice 👌 good WiFi, the tour guide booked the islands trip & was very helpful.

Cons: My room was opposite reception so a little noisy at times,but I had earplugs so could sleep ok.

Great location in Getsemani

Pros: Great location in Getsemani and easy walking distance from all the historical sites and amenities (the laundry just down the street was great). The staff were really helpful and kind. I loved the reception area of the building, it felt like an oasis from the hustle of Getsemani.

Cons: The walls must be quite thin so you can hear sounds from neighbouring rooms. But I didn't spend much time in my room as there is so much to do in the area!

A quirky Bohemian kind of a place. All kinds of Bars and restaurants on the same as the Hotel.

Pros: A lovely place in a great location. The staff were very friendly and accomodating

Cons: Lack of hot water. It seems to be the case in all of Cartagena as they feel being in a warner part of Columbia they dont need hot water.

Great stay and great value

Pros: Lovely private space of a hotel but has a rooftop area and small kitchen area to cook like a hostel. Staff were extremely helpful in dealing with a situation that we had. Our third floor room was much better than our second floor room, had a more reliable air conditioning unit and shower. Bed was comfy and towels provided. As it’s a hotel perhaps not as social for solo travellers but this wasn’t an issue for us! also provided free coffee by reception during the day.

Cons: Be careful when exiting the property at night. Do not turn right and wander down the poorly lit area (should go without saying for tourists). If you turn left and follow the nice, well lit and busy streets you won’t have an issue.

Cons: Lot of noise early in the morning due to maintenance happening in the building .

Amazing location with friendly staff and heaps of action right outside the front door

Pros: The staff were super friendly, it was a great location and security was very high at the accommodation too

Cons: WiFi dropped out once or twice. No other complaints

Amazing Vibe

Pros: Decor is so amazing, flowers, terraces. It is not luxurious, but for those how want to get the Colombian vibe -definitely a place. Staff is kind and open to help.

Cons: We are not sure if that's the situation in whole Cartagena, but there was the lack of hot water. Only mild to cold. As well, there was not any closet or place where to store clothes. We had one not really functional refrigerator in the room, that was unstable and really small to put anything in it.
