OASIS TROPICAL HOTEL

Pros: We chose this place for the closeness to the airport for an early morning flight and it did a good job. Comfortable and big room, nice bed and facilities.

Cons: Nothing in particular

Pros: The breakfast was good. The courtyard with pool and restaurant was cozy.

Cons: The soap and shampoo containers were a fight.

Good Holiday with a nice hotel but things to improve.

Pros: Breakfast was good - with the option of how you would like your eggs to be prepared, the kitchen would sometimes stay open a little later than expected to accommodate guest's late night meals. Rooms were clean and tidy, hotel was somewhat empty at times meaning you could use the facilities all by yourself, reception was kind enough to call a taxi to the airport after we asked them. Pool and jacuzzi were available after some time. Location is great - just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen staff and cleaners are friendly and will greet you in Spanish (make sure you can at least get by in Spanish!).

Cons: Reception or hotel staff should have notified guests that there would be waterworks going on at the hotel and the supply would be cut off for some time - we had to go to reception to request a bowl of water just to wash my hands. The pool was clean overall but I did notice many times that there were plenty of leaves and some other things that I can't describe in the pool with me. You may have insects come in under your bedroom door, but as long as you're not scared you will be fine. After using the shower in the bedroom - we noticed that some water was beginning to flow into the room itself, thankfully it wasn't a problem at the time, but could be in the future. No lights were on when we stepped into the Jacuzzi on the 3rd floor at night.

Pros: Clean, good location to the airport and restaurants. We only stayed a night before a flight so didn’t check out the beaches locally but the location is great and staff are very helpful.

Cons: Staff was soo soo slowly. We were waiting for the lunch 2 hours and one hour for breakfast. We spent hours and hours by waiting ( but it was all over Colombia - mañana) :-D
