Beautiful colonial house in the heart of Getsemaní

Pros: Beautiful colonial house in the heart of Getsemaní. Loved to be hosted by the people who actually live there. The rooms are clean, A/c provided ( fundamental in Cartagena) and comfortable. Perfect location if you want to be in the center of the movida!

Great location with aircon - a few minor tweaks needed to make it exceptional

Pros: Great location in the heart of Getsemani and amazing (and much needed) to have aircon as it can get very hot and humid

Cons: Poor water pressure in the tap which was a pain for washing. The property was generally really clean although we did have one incident with a cockroach (perhaps to be expected given the heat and the central location but still wasn’t pleasant) and there was a fair amount of noise from the adjacent bars - fine for those who enjoy the nightlife but it did wake us up on a couple of occasions so be aware of this.

Simple room with good AC in the heart of Getsemaní

Pros: Super friendly staff, clean room, EXCELLENT air con, good location in the heart of Getsemaní, lovely animals

Cons: Because it's in the heart of Getsemaní, I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper

Very nice stay at the end of the cosy street in Getsemani

Pros: The welcome was very nice and it’s right at the end of the busiest street of Getsemani, but you don’t really hear the noise when you want to sleep, which was the perfect location, 3 minute walk to the cosiest square with lots of very good streetfood. The bathroom was very new and worked properly nice, it’s not really social but since you are at the end of the busiest street of Getsemani it wasn’t a problem for us. The airco works very well and the beda are big enough and definitely not hard.

Perfect location and lovely family

Pros: The room was lovely and the bed comfy. It was in a perfect location in bustling Getsemani. The family were so lovely and the courtyard was beautiful.

Interesting property with friendly owners in a buzzy location.

Pros: It is like staying in a family home - there is no English spoken but we took it to be ladies of several generations as well as a cat. The cat did not move much! There was a terrace area outside our room. The room had very effective air conditioning as well as a fan.

Cons: It is a bit noisy from the street because it is on the Main Street in Getsemaní and there is a lot of night activity by the church on the square - the owners can’t help that. It is a bit hard to find with no sign - it is next to a restaurant called Casa de Tunel.

Pros: Clean rooms with great air con and a ceiling fan. Lovely household and quiet room but in the j Heart of Getsemani. Nice to stay in a family feeling home.

Pros: Very charming accommodation in the centre of old Cartagena, right in the middle of Getsemani. The house is so beautiful and makes you feel back in time; equally charming the atmosphere of the place and as soon as you open the door you are catapulted right in the core of the city: at night you are surrounded by the movida, but the rooms are quite. Rooms are clean and have all necessary features to make your stay comfortable.
