Pros: This was my second stay at Country International Hotel in Barranquilla and overall I enjoyed it very much. The breakfast is definitely a highlight: a rich buffet with a nice variety of Colombian dishes. My room was exactly as shown in the photos, spacious and comfortable, and overlooking the pool.

Cons: On the first night there was a private party in the hotel that went on until around 4 a.m., so it was quite noisy. Also, I had an issue with the reception when paying in cash. I paid the correct amount in cash, but they didn’t give me an invoice at first. When I asked for it, the invoice they printed showed 200,000 COP less than what I had already paid. This means that at check-out it could have looked like I still owed that amount. I noticed it immediately and asked them to correct the invoice, but it made me feel I had to double-check everything very carefully.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent with a variety of food to choose from and menu changes daily0 The room was comfortable and spacious, but the bathroom was a bit small. It looks exactly like the photos. The neighborhood was a safe, nice area with a lot of facilities around such banks, restaurants, exchange shops, malls, and supermarkets.

Cons: The hotel is a bit far from the beach or the historical places.

Cons: Staff doesn't speak English (when knowing a little Spanish still totally manageable). Pictures look better than reality, but still very nice room and amenities.

Attractive facilities, appealing location, great staff and delicious breakfast.

Pros: Pool area was lovely. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. A shout out to Senora Fang on the desk who was great. Breakfast was fantastic. Cost was very reasonable. Great restaurants nearby hidden away along leafy boulevards.

Cons: Room was a little spartan and bathroom very small, but clean and comfortable.

Pros: breakfast was excellent and there was lots of variety. Beds were very clean & comfortable, as was the washroom. Pool was great. Price was very very reasonable for what we got, compared to other places we stayed

Cons: One of the front desk staff was clearly agitated anytime we came to see her (not for anything out of the ordinary -- extending our stay by 2 nights, asking about carnaval, checking out). we spoke Spanish of course Every other hotel staff member was awesome though
