Hotel Casa de Las Palmas

A great place to stay.

Pros: Excellent position in this vibrant part of Getsemini. Attractive design. Plenty of space. Nice people. Tranquil oasis within the ongoing party in the local streets and alleys. Easy walk to walled city, but you’ll want to spend more time here!

Cons: Safe out of action. Good security at main door, less so at rear.

Pros: We really enjoyed our short stay here. The hotel has a special old city style with beautiful courtyards and rooms. The location is very good close to the heart of the Getsemani district.

I felt well taken care of and would absolutely book again! Martha and the team are great!

Pros: I hosted my Aunts and there friends for a 4 day retreat. We were met with such kindness and warmth from Martha all the way down to the staff. We even had a line dance class where we taught them the Cupid Shuffle lol. I feel they went above and beyond to make sure our group was taken care of! I recommend this for anyone looking for a small, family type atmosphere in a great location but still quiet! Lots of green space and a beautiful terraza! Thank you again!

Cons: I think the beds could use a nice mattress pad or foam they were a bit hard. That is the only thing

Pros: Amazing, one of the most beautiful hotels I've visited in South America. Our room was incredible. Huge, elegant, historic.

Pros: Nice hostel with friendly staff. We'll located just some minutes walking distance to the historical center.

Perfect traditional casa in getsemani

Pros: A beautiful, traditional property, with a stunning internal courtyard with its own mango tree to relax and enjoy the delicious breakfast provided. Perfect location, one end of street close to all of the excitement of getsamani and the property at quiet end of street to ensure to get a good night sleep. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would recommend very highly. Also if important for you we experienced hot showers and good WiFi

Lovely peaceful stay in a great location, definitely would stay again

Pros: Lovely hotel, beautiful courtyard and surroundings (loved the mango tree) Very friendly and accommodating hosts and staff Breakfast was served in the outside bit of the restaurant and I liked being able to chat to other people and connect Really comfortable bed, nice bathroom Great location but generally still quiet - I could sleep without earplugs!

Cons: Lots of mosquitoes/flies so wear repellent!

Super little friendly hotel

Pros: Utterly charming Italian owner and his wife supported by friendly and helpful young local people. The colonial houses connected together offer individual rooms that are all different and, though not large, cosy and quiet, with a tv and fridge. The wi-fi is fast. The public areas are attractive and shady. The location is perfect - a minute’s walk from the busy, colourful and noisy centre of Getsemani but far enough away to be peaceful. We have vowed to return to enjoy the hospitality!

Cons: Nothing, but it may not be the best choice for those visitors who prefer large modern hotels and all they can offer.

Best place i stayed in my 6 weeks of travelling in Guatemala & Colombia

Pros: It was a super nice place. Always people there to help, a nice patio, rooftop and good breakfast. The owners live there and the place remind me of a little castle with a lot of history. Good breakfast and restaurant also in the hotel for lunch and dinner 😊👍🏻
