Hotel Voilá Getsemaní

Pros: It’s lovely inside and really nicely decorated, staff are helpful, breakfast is nice

Cons: Quite a noisy place, even with ear plugs, seems a little expensive but maybe that’s just Cartagena!

The perfect place

Pros: We really enjoyed the hotel facilities. The staff was extremely friendly, and the location was perfect, just a few steps from the old town and close to all the main attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location and is spotlessly clean. Great value for money and an excellent welcome drink. Everyone is very helpful! The room did not have a hairdryer, but I went downstairs and they provided one. The breakfast is quite good.

Cons: We were staying on the 5th floor, and for two consecutive nights the ceiling—which, as I understood, was made of plastic panels—had somehow come loose and was making an unbelievable amount of noise for several hours. It took quite some time before I realized where the noise was coming from, but once I did, I obviously went downstairs both times to ask for it to be fixed. Each time it was repaired, but if I hadn’t gone down, I would have had to put up with that noise, as if there were construction work right next to my room. Despite being on the 5th floor, when I went downstairs I naturally checked whether the noise could still be heard, and it could be heard even on the ground floor. So I wonder whether they simply didn’t pay any attention until someone made a complaint or asked for it to be fixed.

Gorgeous hotel, great service.

Pros: One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Amazing location in Getsemani but close to the old town too. Incredibly comfortable and it was so lovely to have a pool to come back to in the heat of the afternoons. The staff were lovely and so helpful. We loved it!

Pros: Great suite, clean, central location, friendly staff , good breakfast

Cons: It was during Christmas 2025 so loads of people in the streets, our room was straight on a busy street, a bit noisy at times … nothing catastrophic

A great stay, the location is safe and closec to restaurants.

Pros: Gorgeous style hotel with an excellent breakfast. The staff were amazing, we had been allocated a bedroom on the 5th floor without a lift in 31’ temperatures. We explained that we physically could not do this given we were recovering from a flue virus. A new room was found, thank you Voila staff.

Cons: Customers need to be informed of rooms on the 5th floor before booking . Also some rooms are very small for two people.

Pros: Hotel Voila Getseman is spectacular. You'll find a family atmosphere the service and staff are very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. I want to give a special thanks to Gudiela; my boyfriend was sick for two days while we were there, and she helped us with everything, even finding us accommodations at the other Voila hotel in the historic center. Diomeli and the other staff were also incredibly helpful. The internet works perfectly, and the breakfast is delicious. I definitely recommend it and we I’ll be back Thank you guys for making us feel so welcome!

Great place to stay in the centre of Getsemani

Pros: What a beautiful hotel in the centre of Getsemani. The staff was so friendly and professional! The facilities are clean and tidy and the breakfast was delicious 😋 Thank you for welcoming us with such warmth from day 1!!
