Stunning stay in a gorgeous property. Perfectly positioned in Gestamani

Pros: Stunning property. In à renovated old colonial building. With a cute rooftop pool And jacuzzi. Great size family room, we travelled with 12 and 13 year olds and were very happy with the size and comfort of the beds. Breakfast is delish staff are friendly. Location is excellent in Gestamani close to everything.

Cons: Sound proofing needs to be looked at, can hear other rooms.

Perfect for luxurious stay in the heart of Getsemaní

Pros: The hotel has a most kind, helpful and attentive staff across the board from reception to housekeeping. Beautifully decorated and well maintained, the hotel is very clean. Despite the central location it is quiet thanks to the internal courtyard. Excellent spa with experienced therapist. Walking distance from many sights and surrounded by great restaurants. The breakfast was a highlight to start every day. The hotel reception was very helpful in arranging various activities and providing recommendations.

Cons: No gym at the hotel, but there is a full gym in a mall a 10min walk away.

Fantastic oasis in the middle of Cartagena

Pros: The hotel was absolutely stunning with lovely staff who do everything they can to help you during your stay. The rooms are spacious and all amenities carefully thought out. The location is fantastic for exploring getesemani and the old town, everything is less than 10 mins walk. The hotel itself is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy part of the city where you can escape and relax by the pool or on the rooftop. The 15mins complimentary massages were also a lovely bonus.

Cons: The breakfast was great but it would have been nice to have a few more options included with the room cost. Everything else was absolutely fantastic.

Pros: We loved the attentive staff and the property was so warm. The cleanliness and the kindness of people was truly inspiring. We loved our stay.

The perfect choice for staying in the heart of Cartagena

Pros: The Capellán de Getsemaní is perfectly placed on the edge of the Getsemaní neigborhood near to the old town. The hotel is beautifully styled but the stand out is the attention to detail of the staff. They are helpful, positive and engaging.

Cons: Nothing! Perfect room, great pool, good breakfast.

Pros: The staff were absolutely brilliant, particularly Elizabeth on reception. She went out of her way to help us make arrangements for our daily activities, giving sound advice on the best things to do, assisting with bookings, taxis and more. She even set up a chat on WhatsApp and made sure to message us, even on her days off, to check everything had gone smoothly. The hotel itself felt like a second home, a vibe created by the warmth, friendliness and attentiveness of their wonderful staff. We stayed in 4 different hotels during our stay and this was by far our favourite!

Cons: It would have been great to have had a slightly larger pool but an almost insignificant issue given the hotel's location and how much there is to do in the area.

Pretty hotel with friendly staff

Pros: As a boutique luxury hotel , it was pretty. Enjoyed sitting on the roof top under the moon and fairy lights and surrounded by bouganvillea and other plants

Cons: The bathrooms were a bit dark especially for make up application. My colleagues room on second floor flooded after the rain

Pros: absolutely beautiful property, located at the start of getsemani, and easy to reach the old town what I love is about this hotel were all the small touches. When we arrived, we were given a wet towel that smelt nice to freshen up. We had some arrival cheese and charcuterie in our room. Every evening we were given a little snack. All of these things made the stay exceptional. The coffee that they served at breakfast was some of the best coffee that I have tasted in Columbia. and the bonus is that above the swimming pool there is a deck with an amazing view of the city where there is also a Jacuzzi. It seemed that not a lot of people knew about this. So whilst everybody in all of Cartagena are crowding rooftop bars to watch the sunset, we had a completely available terrace on our own with a Jacuzzi with an amazing view, overseeing the city. This is an absolute gem, and I highly recommend this hotel to anybody, without a shadow of a doubt.
