A short stay in paradise

Pros: The position. Brilliantly organised transport by tranqiteasy. Flexibility of management- unforseen weather meant a late change of arrival date and the loss of a night, which was really sad, but the team came up with a very fair way of recompensing us. The storms had caused a lot of damage, but they worked hard to make It all as good as possible. Staff - special mention to Gabriel- were very good. Room beautiful. Food very special

Cons: Sand is a bit rocky/sharp with coral. Do take sand shoes for getting into the sea.

Perfect Stay

Pros: The service and the kindness of the staff. Daniel, Felipe, Edwin and all the staff made the stay the greatest.

Cons: Everything was perfect.

Pros: A really nice harmonic, romantic and peaceful feel of the resort as it is on the pictures. Beautiful view of the sea, many areas to rest and enjoy the sea view ( hammock, sun beds, chairs).

Cons: Just very small and not too important things for us-Internet speed could be better. Our room was simple but with all amenities that we needed ( shower with no time restriction, air conditioning at night, cleaning service, clean towels every day, etc).

Perfect place to relax

Pros: We had a beautiful stay. We splashed out on the Vista Mar room, which was perhaps the most beautiful hotel room we have ever stayed in. It's a large, circular cabin built of wooden beams, with a conical, thatched roof. Best of all, if has a large balcony danging out over the turquoise water, and with its own hammock. Perfect for relaxing in the warm, Caribbean breeze. At low season (early May), we had the place almost to ourselves. Service from Kevin and the team was excellent. Food was basic but tasty, with great Colombian breakfasts. We particularly loved happy hour cocktails (2 for 1 between 5 and 6 pm) and then watching the beautiful sunsets.

Cons: It's quite a long boat ride from Cartagena (2.5 hours), but that's what makes it special.

Very nice place

Pros: The staff Kevin and Daniel were very nice and helpful when I had problem with my transport with the boat. They helped me with everything. So I’m very very grateful for them :)

Nice space, pet friendly the cocktails were good and the staff was nice.

Pros: The enviorment of the hotel, everyone was nice, the food was ok, good cocktails. Nice place to rest and reset energies

Cons: I didnt like the private beach, could be cleaner and it was difficult enter in the water because of the wood inside the water

Pros: It is a fantastic place to relax. The room was big and clean and we really enjoyed the balcony. Mariano speaks English and welcomed us with a cocktail. He was also always happy to help with tours and answer our questions. The other staff members were very friendly and patient when we tried to communicate with our poor Spanish. We can recommend the bioluminescent plankton tour. It was a magical experience. Don't miss happy hour 😉🍹🍹

Cons: The air-conditioning unit was pretty loud and could probably use a service.

Relaxing, friendly and beautiful!

Pros: Mucura Club was an all round brilliant stay and such good value for money. The staff we so accommodating and couldn’t do more for you. Happy hour had a big range of cocktails and activities to do on side and off site. A very chilled vibe and we really enjoyed our time on the little beach 🏝️ Daniel was brilliant and have us an excellent introduction and was always on hand via WhatsApp if we needed anything. They have little kayaks you can take out around the island and the bioluminescent plankton tour which was great.

Cons: The menu, other than the breakfast, felt very dated. The menu was fish and meat heavy which is similar to most of the island, so as a vegetarian, be prepared for that. The menu felt as though the it hadn’t changed since opening and could do with a refresh - which is genuinely been my only downside. It isn’t too much of a problem as you can eat at the other hotel next door which has better food, however it felt a shame to take our custom elsewhere when the staff are so nice at Mucura Club

Pros: Staff were really friendly, food was delicious and everyone was super helpful Hotel was in a a middle of a paradise and was incredible seeing so much amazing wildlife nearby

Cons: As a suggestion, the activities should be explained better since I went to do the plankton tour without wearing a swimsuit that was needed (jumped to the water in underwear instead - so no issue for me but could had been fixed by explaining better the pre-requisites of the activities)

Pros: The location in Isla Mucura is amazing, quiet place, in front of the sea. The small beach is located on the side of the hotel, but you can access the sea straight from the wooden deck in front of the hotel. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Good place to relax and enjoy nature.

Cons: Is a simple place, needs same maintenance. Not so many options for dinner or activities around.
