Hotel Irotama Lago

Amazing staff!

Pros: All the staff was outstanding! Excellent breakfast!

Cons: Check in is too late so we did not enjoy much first day. It should be an easier way to enjoy the facilities ealier. We found a lot of people selling stuff on the beach.

Pros: the wors parat of Irotama Lago is the bungalows many stank water ponds around and to many mosquitoes No very clean

Brilliant, we got all inclusive and it was worth every penny. Tony from the pool bar made our holidays unique and specia

Pros: Everything was nearly 100%, the staff members from reception, cleaners bar members and entertainment were very friendly, the food was limited but nice, really nice private location, rooms were super clean and spacious. Amazing views.

Cons: Limited food at the buffet at night time but we have always other restaurants to choose from so we were ok. English language was a bit of barrier for all the staff members so it was very hard to join the daily activities.

Fantastic hotel for families

Pros: The Irotama Lago hotel is perfect for families with kids (main pool with slide, kids club but must be accompanied by parent) and provides access to all their properties within the same vicinity. Beach in front of the hotel is not private but the hotel has plenty of security around. Quality of the breakfast & options are ample and include a lot of local Caribeño plus continental food options. There are 13 restaurants, we tried two for a la carte dinners and they were just ok. There’s a small shopping nearby Zazue with a variety of shops like a Carulla, casual dining, beach wear, etc. Overall a great stay.

Very nice hotel and surrounding areas were well maintained

Pros: The gardens ,pool and beach was well maintained and beautiful

Cons: drinking water was no accessable

Pros: Breakfast was ok. Buffet dinner looked poor. Italian was ok. Overall this is a great hotel for a short break. Pools are good. More 4* than 5* I'd say

Lovely tropical setting & a place to get away from it all

Pros: The unique atmosphere and set up of the resort amongst extraordinary vegetation.

Cons: The service at the restaurants can be slow at times. The size of the bungalows varies and this should be made clear when making the booking . The accommodation in the larger bungalows and bohios doesn't seem to be offered through booking.com - it would be great if in future this type of accommodation at the resort is also offered when choosing the room online.

Very good typical resort on the beach, but the sea is nothing special

Pros: The hotel is a typical resort on the beach. It is a huge complex with four different towers, many restaurants, bars and swimming pools. It has private parking and direct access to the beach. Rooms are modern, nice and provide for all needed comfort.

Cons: Competence and service of some waiters could improve and the sea is nothing special, but about this of course the hotel can do nothing to improve it.
