Great hotel with a good location, comfy rooms and pool

Pros: Clean and big room very confortable with a good location. Th rooftop pool is very nice and private.we had a very good time.

Cons: Nothing really it was very comfy

A lovely spot

Pros: There is so much to like about this place. Location is right in the middle of the old city but quiet. The hotel is gorgeous. Public areas are delightful and the rooms large and elegant. The pool although small is great and the views lovely. Breakfast changed daily and is interesting.

Cons: I hate to say this but the Staff are surly and ignore guests. For a hotel with just seven rooms and with the reception at the front door, Reception staff have their faces buried in their phones (clearly not work related) or so attentive to the computer screen, they can’t be bothered to acknowledge anyone coming or going. When you stand at reception, you are made to feel you are interrupting something far more important. This is a tiny issue but so very important and something that needs to change.

Lovely old building in a super location

Pros: Super location. Lovely friendly staff. Pool was small but great for a quick dip. Our room was cool and quiet.

Cons: Breakfast was very disappointing. No choice and poor quality. Unfortunately this really let it down.

Lovely boutique hotel in great location in Cartagena old town.

Pros: Very traditional colonial style building with lots of original features but also modern amenities. Staff were great and service excellent. Triple room on top floor was lovely and big, beds very comfortable. Great location to explore old town, lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby.

A memorable stay in the heart of Cartagena, made better by kind and considerate staff.

Pros: Beautiful building, great location, kind and friendly staff.

Cons: Pool area on the roof needs a bit of tlc but this is a minor detail. This is a really great hotel.

Cons: The hotels’ sign on the street was a bit difficult to notice.

Very nice hotel in the heart of old town Cartagena

Pros: Somewhat elderly hotel but best location. Very helpful and attentive staff.

Cons: lack of electrical sockets

Pros: Super hotel, full of charm and perfectly located in the heart of the old town. The property is rich in history, and they’ve done a great job preserving its authentic character while offering all the comfort of a modern 4-star hotel. Lots of thoughtful details throughout — from the beautiful patio and cosy library to the rooftop pool with great views. It was truly a special and memorable experience. Tip: If you can, ask for the first room downstairs — it was spacious with high ceilings, and I’m pretty sure it’s one of the best rooms in the hotel. It really added to the overall charm and comfort of our stay.

Cons: One small downside: there was stagnant water near the indoor tree, which unfortunately attracted quite a few mosquitoes. It would be great if the hotel could look into this, as everything else was very well

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful old, iconic building in the centre of Cartagena

Pros: Beautiful old building, amazing location bang in the centre of Cartagena, lovely rooftop pool with great view and charming owner. We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel.

Cons: Nothing, it was all great. If you're limited mobility, you might struggle getting up the stairs as there is no elevator.

Wonderful place, not so good breakfast.

Pros: The place is a wonderful colonial house in the very center of Cartagena - everything within the wall city is walking distance. The room is big and well equipped.

Cons: Breakfast could definitely improve. There's only one limited option each day.
