Pros: Very good location of the hotel, in a very quite street but close to all important sites. Extremely comfortable room, big, bright, with nice balcony, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, nice bathroom, really boutique style, because the hotel has only few rooms and guests are treated like very special persons. Breakfast served personally. The hotel staff is increadibly kind and helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Mr John and Jeimy for kindest and professional service and Mrs Luisa for mouthwatering breakfast.

Simply luxurious...
Pros: The Quadrifolio is like entering a palace hidden behind an unassuming door. We were immediately enveloped in the tranquility of soothing music, given a cooling drink and the street noise outside became non-existent. The pool is fabulous, the breakfast delicious with course after course that we had to decline as it would have been too much. The location in the historic centre is perfect and our room was huge and very comfortable. The staff are all so kind, from the cleaners to the bar/kitchen/waiting/reception staff. It was luxury, being taken care of by superb professionals. Thank you all.
Cons: Sadly there was building work going on next door, which had nothing to do with the hotel, but it was noisy with banging and drilling, which was a huge disruption to the peace of the hotel. Thankfully, this wonderful staff member at reception, (whose name I forget, apologies), took charge to arrange times of day when the work took place, to coincide with when we were out. In addition, she arranged for my husband & I to have a massage, which we did before our long flight back to England, and for which we are very grateful.

Excellent hub to discover the old town of Cartagena.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Great breakfast - served as requested - lovely swimming pool to cool down - roof-top jacuzzi to relax and unwind - lovely lounge-area's - 5 minutes walking distance, yet silent so ideal to sleep great tips on what to do, what to see, where to eat with personalised map.
Cons: The small reception area is lit with harsh white light - also the design of this small room is in no way comparable to the rest of the building. As such this is not important but it is a pity this area is not pulled up to the same design standard with a few simple measures.

Wonderful magical place in the old city of Cartagena
Pros: It is very relaxed and at the same time very luxurious as you feel like you are in a private mansion being taken care of by the lovely and kind people working there. It is very much a boutique feel and never overcrowded. We had the pool for ourselves, the whirlpool on the rooftop by ourselves with drinks and delicious food under the stars with an excellent view, breakfast with very few others, roomservice with excellent food, like having a live in chef, at affordable prices. I loved the ceviche, drinks, coffe and breakfast served at the table by the very friendly John who made daily new suggestions made to order. Everyone was very nice and welcoming and the place is just beautiful in very good taste when it comes to decor. 12 out of 10 and we are actually coming back next week. I am very much looking forward to returning to the Quadrifolio.

Pros: The quiet and v clean room with excellent bed and comfy couch Air con and fan in the room Touch phone charger available in the room (very handy if you forgot your US adapter) Excellent breakfast Refreshing pool and beverages every time you come in the hotel (so nice given the constant heat of the city) Best massage services provided (Gina and Shakira are absolutely amazing) Super helpful staff (John, Haina, Luis) Very accommodating staff to store luggage while away for a few days on the islands We highly recommend the hotel and will stay there again.
