Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly. Our initial room was too small and the shower didn't work, but the lady on reception found us another room without hassle. Nice to be able to walk out straight into the heart of the bars and restaurants of Getsemani.

Cons: Some of the rooms are very small - just big enough for a double bed and a desk, and many have no windows. But this keeps the price down! Breakfast is a bit haphazard- the waitress will bring you eggs, fruit and a juice in no particular order, but its all freshly made.

Lovely hotel, nice room and great location!

Pros: I really liked this hotel. The staff were very helpful. My room was lovely, the air conditioning was perfect and the shower was great. It had a safe, and a nice terrace. Also only a few minutes walk from the main streets. Would recommend!

Good place in Cartagena

Pros: Beautiful colonial house, far from the noise but close to anything important. Really delicious breakfast with fresh mango juice a great view because it is served on rooftop. Also staff is very helpful and nice. If I go back I will stay definitely only in this hotel again.

Quiet, basic hotel

Pros: Quiet hotel, outside the busy streets. Basic room, could be cleaner as we found some black hairs and stains on the bedding. Shower was hot in the evening but hardly warm in the morning. Close the bathroom door at night as we had mosquitos coming in from the bathroom. Staff was very friendly and we could leave our luggage for a few hours as we went into the city. Breakfast was nice in the rooftop.

Recommended, I'd definitely stay again

Pros: A charming colonial building in a fabulous location.. On the edge of Getsemani but away from the noise.. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace and the breakfast were good. My bed was comfy and the room was clean.

Cons: The shower was cold and barely a dribble, certainly not enough to wash my hair. My room was on the beautiful but echoing main staircase so if you want extra quiet ask for a side room.
