Casa Helena Hostel

Pros: Great staff! Peaceful and relaxing place, still very centric

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Good location within walking distance of all key sites and restaurants.

Pros: Great location. Pod-like beds which gives some privacy in the dorm. A/C works between 7pm and 9am, but the room remains cool enough during the day. There is a nice rooftop. It's a very quiet hostel.

Cons: the showers aren't the best, it's really lacking hooks to hang stuff up during the showers. There was an issue with water at some point but this was resolved within a few hours. They don't serve any food.

Great stay in a lovely hostel

Pros: * Fantastic location near to the nice part of Cartagena we liked to explore in the evening * Really nice pool to cool down with sun beds * Really lovely rooms which were comfy and spacious * Friendly and helpful staff

Cons: * Loud music from the hostel next door in the evening but this ends by 11pm so didn’t effect us too much

Wonderful place

Pros: The staff were delightful; it was quiet respite from the busy streets outside; I nice roof top pool dunk when it’s hot or during sunset was delightful.

Nice boutique hotel in a central area of Cartagena

Pros: I staid twice at casa Helena and enjoyed the place and facilities. The guys at the receptions are just the best and definitely the heart of your stay. The hotel/ hostel is new and nicely designed. Good fabric for bed linens, really comfortable mattress, free towels, the little pool. The 8-bed dorms with private bathroom is the best as it has some space and a separate restroom with showers and toilets. The private rooms looked really beautiful. The little breakfast near the coffee machine was a little treat.

Cons: As it is new few things are missing but if added would make the place much more pleasant: - on the roof top having cushions, tables, chairs.. would make it more social and a space for people to sit and relax - hangers in every room are missing - daily cleaning of dorms should be granted The 4-bed dorm felt very very small, and already very moldy to be of a new facility. Not sure if ventilation system could be added to solve the issue. Overall a positive stay, happy to come back if I will ever be in Cartagena again.

Pros: The staff was amazing. And it was in a great location.It'ss in downtow, but u can't hear any noise once in the room. It's super clean. I will recommend and I will come back

Pros: The design and staff. Also, the location was very good. The lighting in the room was perfect

Cons: The hostel should have the fridge. As there is no dj and no bar upstairs, it would be convenient to have a fridge

Comodidad y elegancia

Pros: La ubicación, la amabilidad y la comodidad. La limpieza del hotel es muy buena. La comodidad te ayuda a desacansar.

Cons: La variedad del desayuno, agregar otras dos opciones al desayuno estaría genial. Y que pudiera prender el aire acondicionado en cualquier horario.
