Getsemani Cartagena Hotel

Pros: A great hotel just on the edge of Getsemani, perfect as it's quiet but just close enough to access all of the bars, shops and restaurants in a short walk. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful. There is hot water in the shower (for those that don't know not every hotel/apartment in Cartagena has hot water)

Superior room

Pros: I read lots of complaints, but we booked a superior room, with king size bed, soundproof windows, nice bathroom and comfortable space. It was 100 %. Breakfast very good and perfect location, close to restaurants, cafes, supermarket, shopping centers, etc.

Cons: Lack of hygienic douche (as in all hotels in Colombia).

A wonderful building set around peaceful courtyards with intriguing architectural salvage.

Pros: The location was brilliant. Getsemani is a colourful, vibrant part of the city and being on the edge the hotel was easy to find, the hotel courtyards were fabulous and peaceful, everything was in easy walking distance and the view of the castillo from the roof terrace and pool was amazing. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Bedroom were quiet and the beds really comfortable.

The staff and their driver are all charming and very helpful.

Pros: The way it has been set up is quite lovely. Breakfast on the patio, and a very good breakfast at that!

Cons: There’s not enough light in the rooms, and for me the bed was way too soft.

Amazing place must visit great location and friendly staff

Pros: The breakfast was ok it could do with a menu where you can choose from. There was a slight language barrier as I didn’t speak any Spanish so I had to look at other peoples plates. But overall the hotel was beautiful some of the best facilities I’ve use the bed was so comfy

Pros: The bed in the room was the best I had in Colombia. I slept really good in it. Staff was very kind, the location was good (2 min walk of the restaurants of Getsemani en 5 min from the old city) and they had a good breakfast included.

Good stay close to City center

Pros: The pool was Nice, althought small. Bed was super confortable. Breakfast was good. Location is nice, good to reach the center without being bothered with the center noise.

Cons: The photos of the room were not the same as the room we got.

Good location.

Pros: This hotel is perfectly located to walk around Getsami and the Historical area. It also has a lovely pool on the roof which was very well maintained and overlooks the water and birdlife. The room was excellent, bed very comfortable, plenty of hot water, good air conditioning and serviced daily.

Cons: The breakfast was adequate but very formulaic. We stayed on two separate occasions so not a serious issue.

Stunning hotel in the best area of the city

Pros: Beautiful hotel, great beds, nice breakfast , location is superb

Cons: Staff was borderline rude

Perfect for special occasions

Pros: Excellent location. Large room and daily cleaning. It was a fantastic breakfast, and the staff was willing to help. It's not cheap, but it delivers what it promises. Perfect for special occasions.
