Privado Designer Boutique Hotel

Nice place but would not return at that price

Pros: We changed room after two nights since ours was dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. The second room was spacious and nice. The location is good. Staff was friendly. Beds are comfy.

Cons: Does not really offer anything. Vending machines have crappy coffee. Would have been nice not to spend two nights in a room with a drip. Breakfast is at a restaurant around the corner. Fancy place with very limited options.

Nicely designed hotel within the city walls

Pros: This is a very beautifully decorated hotel in a good location in the city walls. It smells fresh, good aircon, and we enjoyed the rooftop pool all to ourselves on two days. It felt luxurious!

Cons: We had quite a lot of noise from the bar next door on two nights, the room could have been a bit bigger to take into account suitcases. We also felt the staff were a bit too watchful, in the sense that our room was cleaned twice a day (even though it was unnecessary) and they watched you go in and out every time. Just a small point but kind of defeats the purpose of a self-service hotel

A fantastic stay in a safe area with many great restaurants, cafe’s and historic points around.

Pros: The Location & the rooms & the kind staff.

Cons: Overall it is complaining on high level: It would be nice to have more english-speaking staff or pay the staff some english courses as they all were super helpful - just communication was sometimes hard wirhout speaking spanish.

Pros: Beautiful unique hidden oasis in central Cartagena. Really well located and very near all the great restaurants and bars in the old town.

Loveliest rooms in the heart of Cartagena

Pros: Decoration was exquisite, and great location. Aircon is a must.

Cons: Breakfast was served a few blocks from the hotel. Swimming pool space is quite limited.

Beautiful place at great location.

Pros: Beautiful property, with design details on each corner. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very comfortable bed and great showers. Breakfast offered at a beautiful external venue. Would definitely stay at Privado again, the uniqueness of each room and all the great touches to make the guest experience more comfortable are definitely the cherry on the cake.

Pros: Really enjoyed staying here. Almost felt like it was our own apartment. High ceilings with plenty of space unlike most hotel rooms. Great bathroom facilities and a nice big balcony you can people watch from. Even though this is considered a self service hotel, they provide you with all the information and help you need to get it done. Highly recommend!

Pros: The design, the style and decoration. Beautiful hotel.

Cons: The room was next to the main entrance, although it was very good isolated.

Couldn’t recommend any more , if we were to come back we will definitely stay here again!

Pros: Facilitaties are great! It’s very easy to get to. Location is relatively silent in comparison to other hotels in the area. Staff was super friendly, particularly Melisa.
