Hotel Casa la Tablada

Oasis, great location, characterful

Pros: The hotel is super central in San Diego, right in the heart of the old fortified city. It is full of charm and character which compensated for our slightly tired bathroom. However our nicely decorated room had great aircon! The hotel was an plant filled oasis from the heat with a small pool downstairs and a couple of jacuzzis on the roof terrace, with day beds too to relax on. Breakfast was fruit, an omelette, coffee and juice. Adequate but nothing special. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

Cons: Shabby in places and breakfast could be improved in quantity and selection. I would still stay here again.

Pros: I loved the location, the room and the jacuzzi. The waffles and the omelette with potato were the best

Pros: Great localization and a place that truly has a soul. I loved this hotel for its unique atmosphere and kind staff. The room was very nice, air condition worked well, the bathroom was spacious. There are two terraces on top of the building and the view is stunning, however it was too hot for me to enjoy them. But there's also space on the ground floor to enjoy.

Cons: Nothing.

Lovely location

Pros: I loved the old style and the breakfast was a nice touch.The staff were exceptional.

Pros: Great position, in the old city. Under the expectation, there is an amaIng rooftop with 2 jacuzzi and a swimming pool at the ground floor. There is also a cafe where they serve breakfast.

Cons: The pool was a lot smaller than it looked in the photos. The room was not 100% - the ACs on the outside were quite noisy, some tiles on the floor were broken and wobbled and the room was rather on the small side

Perfect little place to stay

Pros: This is a lovely little hotel in the old town of Cartagena. It is a haven in the bustle of the city. Lovely rooms, great breakfast. Staff were so nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here

Cons: The room smelt a little damp but it wasn’t too bad

Pros: This is the only location you will want to be, beautiful and quite street next to everything. The hotel is super cute and breakfast was delicious (the best one we had in a month travelling Colombia. But the best part are the staff members, so helpful and friendly, especially Sharon, Jose and Caroline. Thank you so much for making our visit a good one.

Beautiful hotel that feels better than home!

Pros: We loved everything! The small pool was perfect to escape the Cartagena heat, the room was so comfortable (we slept like babies!), the breakfast was more than enough, and the staff was very helpful. The location is perfect for walking within the walled city and to get to other popular areas. We were so satisfied with our stay, we didn't want to leave. The room was cleaned every day and we had hot water, contrary to other reviews.
