Great hotel, but the breakfast is bad.

Pros: Very good hotel. Great location. The size of the room is reasonable and the bathroom is good. Very quiet.

Cons: Internet is unstable (but it works most of the time). There was a small table in the room, but not a chair. And the breakfast is bad (there is a coffeeshop in front of the hotel and they prepare the breakfast. Few options and 7 of 9 of them included eggs. If you don´t like - or can´t eat - eggs, you´ll have problem. Well, there were 2 options without eggs, but one was not available, so, in fact, there was only one option without eggs. And you may ask only 2 drinks. Ordered water? Then you may ask more only one drink: cooffe, milk or juice. The cooffeshop has good options of sandwiches and meals, but not for the guests. I really didn´t like it.

Pros: An exceptional stay The hotel’s location is ideal, perfectly situated near the gastronomic district, offering easy access to excellent dining options. The pool terrace is a wonderful addition, providing a calm and inviting space to relax. The staff were consistently attentive, professional, and courteous, specially Guillermo whose kindness, efficiency, and attention to detail truly enhanced the experience. Breakfast was beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients and excellent flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would gladly return without hesitation. Barbara

Pros: Staff were excellent, very welcoming and genuinely caring.

Cons: Hotel could be a bit more polished, but its not an issue really.

Stylish hotel in excellent location

Pros: The hotel was very stylish and well located within walking distance of all the sights of the historic centre and Getsemeni. The breakfast was good, and when we informed the staff that we were rushing for a tour they prepared it quickly for us. We were able to relax at the pool area on our last day, after we had checked out, though it is a little small - you can’t swim in it, just sit and chill. The staff kindly stored our luggage on our last day.

Cons: The room was a little on the small side, but that didn’t really bother us.

Great Location but a Little Tired

Pros: Great location in the old town and within easy walking distance of all sights. Hotel is looking a bit tired once you get beyond the restaurant and lobby. Rooms very small but bed and pillows really comfortable. Plentiful supply of hot water. Noise travels in the hotel due to its design around a central atrium. Pool is really small and not very clean. Roof area needs some attention.

Pros: Great location, lovely staff and we loved the rooftop terrace with the small pool

Cons: The rooms dont have a lot of stage space

Fabulous staying

Pros: Right in the historic centre of Cartagena, this beautiful hotel has a very good breakfast, awesome pool and the staff is always super friendly and helpful, one of the best room i've stayed in my 3 weeks trip highly reccomended 💯

Pros: The hotel has excellent shower pressure, which is not common in all colombian hotels. The beds are comfortable and it is clean. The location is equally good, placed in the old town and close to city highlights. The breakfast was also good, located in a cafe within the same building as the hotel.

Cons: One of the rooms we originally reserved had a windowed door. To block the view, we would have to roll down a blackout screen. We decided to pay extra for an upgrade to avoid people looking into the room, since it was on the ground floor. Some of the bedrooms on the second floor had large windows facing the hallway which allowed anyone to look in and did not provide privacy.

Exceptional

Pros: The hotel was exactly as expected, with exceptionally nice staff who were committed to making our experience the best. Everything was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was outstanding. The cafe in front of the hotel served delicious food, and the surroundings were fantastic. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: The staff was exceptionally friendly. Especially Dani at reception was super helpful and kind.
