Staff very helpful and attentive. Lovely, freshly cooked breakfast

Pros: Very centrally located. Very quiet. Interesting decor in atmospheric colonial style.

Cons: No free water in fridge

Pros: This hotel is stunning! We had the superior suite which would definitely recommend. The staff were wonderful, always friendly and there to help, they made our stay extra special.

Cons: The shower was beautiful but cold

Comfortable Small Hotel

Pros: This is a very well located hotel in the walled city centre. It is a small property so is peaceful. The room was excellent and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

Cons: It was disappointing to be charged for 5 nights when we only stayed 2 nights. This was a surprising error and we hope it was not deliberate. The way in which this error was handled took the shine off our otherwise very good stay.

Fantastic stay and amazing staff

Pros: The hotel was amazing very nice and peacefull even though in the center of action

Cons: Nothing apart from the swimming pool which looked for like a hot tub and was not very inviting

Beautiful hotel, great staff! Cartagena is not what it used to be.

Pros: The staff are amazing- kind, helpful, friendly. Great location, close to everything, but not noisy at night. Very nice roof terrace and pool. Good fresh Colombian breakfast.

Cons: If you want something additional/different at breakfast, they don’t tell you it’s an extra cost until you see your bill at the end. If we’d known 2 fried eggs cost $5 we might not have bothered each morning. The menus have no prices, so ask the price or you might get a shock!

Good option but not quite 5*

Pros: Great location within the walled city and close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Large bed and great AC in the room!

Cons: It would be helpful to have a breakfast menu and some more variety as it could become repetitive after a few days. The pool area is nice but the pool wasn’t very clean.

Pros: * Location - in the heart of the Old Town. Take the room with the courtyard vie to be sure it is not noisy * Spacious room and bathroom * Very clean * Good wifi, Netflix and satellite chanels

Cons: * Only one person (wonderful manager) speaks English so don't expect any advice if you arrive on weekend * No breakfast menu so you have to explain everything and communication is tricky (English!)

Very friendly boutique Hotel in perfect (& quiet) location.

Pros: Loved this place. Small but with lovely large rooms and very nice and helpful team of staff. Lovely rooftop.

Cons: Honestly nothing - just a really nice Hotel. If pushed Rooms a little dark but it kept them cool & they were quiet.

Magical stay owing to staff whose kindness the words can’t describe.

Pros: People working in this hotel made my stay exceptional and unforgettable. They made me feel as if I visited family rather than booked the hotel. Hard to describe but energy of the place and staff kindness despite language barrier was magical!!!

Pros: Excellent location, lovely clean room with an extremely comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Nice rooftop area to relax with a small pool. The highlight for this hotel is its friendly and extremely helpful staff.

Cons: This is supposed to be an adult only hotel and for three mornings in a row we had to put up with somebody’s toddler running around in the lounge area and around the pool
