Hotel Cartagena Plaza

Good hotel for a long weekend

Pros: The hotel is located across from the beach and is approximately a 15 minute taxi drive from the airport which costs between $6 - $10 depending on the taxi driver. The hotel was very clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room on the 8th floor had everything we needed, and the shower had very hot water. There was also a hairdryer and hair straighteners. The pool on the roof was great. Breakfast was good, with different options, but I feel the lunch and dinner options were very limited and were typically Colombian food. Hamburgers and hotdogs were available at the pool snack during certain times of the day, but I found the food was generally not hot, just luke warm. The food in the Lucia restaurant was good and the service was excellent. The staff were very attentive and nice. The wifi was a bit sporadic one day and I wasn`t able to check in for my flight until much later but in general it was good. Overall, we had a good time at the hotel.

Cons: The only thing that I think could be improved are the food options for lunch and dinner. I really think more are needed as it generally consisted of soup, salad, 2 types of meat, rice and vegetables. It`s not very adventurous

Best experience in a great Hotel

Pros: First of all the location is fantastic you just have to walk a few steps and there you are at the beach ⛱️. Allison Michelle the front desk girl went above and beyond giving us the best tips and service. We arrived really early and Allison Michelle took care of our lounge and gave us beach towels to go right away to enjoy the beach. The Hotel has a lot of amenities such as a gym, great pool located on the 18 floor with an amazing snack where Sergio the bar tender made us feel like home. The restaurant has a fantastic selection of different kinds of food with the amazing service from the staffing. I definitely recommend it to go and have a blast in Cartagena Plaza Hotel. The only risk is falling in love with it.

Excellent stay in a lovely place!

Pros: We liked everything - staff, facilities, food etc.! Staff was very friendly! Nothing to complaint about. Smart google assistant in the room, possibility to dance every day etc. What not to like?

Had a good stay

Pros: Staff is really nice, swimming pool not to busy so always a place to lay down , mostly Spanish people

Cons: More English talking people

Pros: Great location. Super facilities. Very comfortable and specious room. Nice roof swimming pool.

Cons: The iron was burnt. I had white things and couldn't use it and had no time to swap it, so I had to leave in creased clothes.

Pros: Boa localização e os quartos são grandes e super limpos

Cons: Para se deslocar no hotel, só através de elevadores, que demoram demais e o espaço de lazer é pequeno para quantidade de hóspedes

un viaje soñado

Pros: la habitación espectacular con vista al mar, la comida excelente variedad, buenos sabores y el personal muy atentos y amables.

Cons: lo único que se debería mejorar es el aire acondicionado en el lobby, el contraste al llegar de la playa o la ciudad es un poco brusco y mas cuando se viaja con niños.

Perfecta, fue una muy buena luna de miel

Pros: El restaurante Lucia dentro del hotel es delicioso y tiene un servicio increible de 5 estrellas, adicional a esto, el buffet para el desayuno brinda opciones variadas y ricas de desayuno

Cons: Siento que el area de la piscina es un poco pequeña sin embargo se disfruta de forma correcta y las instalaciones de la discoteca no son lo mejor

Pros: La atención totalmente cordial y la accesibilidad a entregar soluciones.. una muy linda experiencia.
