Hotel Voilá Centro Histórico

Would recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Pros: Perfect location for exploring the old town, you are right in the middle of the walled city without it being too noisy. Check in was great with a drink offered on arrival. Comfortable bed, exceptional shower and a decent breakfast offered on the rooftop. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena.

A great place in Cartagena's centro historico

Pros: The hotel was a great find in Cartagena. The rooms were spacious, and breakfast was good and included. The hotel is strategically placed so we were able to get around Cartagena easily from the hotel. I went with my daughter and my two sons, and they all liked it and hoped we could stay longer on our way back from Santa Marta. I would recommend this hotel if you want a large room, delicious breakfast, and a view on Cartagena from the swimming pool!

Super central, great staff, nice clean room

Pros: Location was very close to the clock tower. Welcome drink was delicious. Nice breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Cons: Quite noisy on the street BUT we chose the location and to stay somewhere so close you expect the noise.

A very nice stay in Cartagena

Pros: It is a small but very well-designed room. It is very modern, with a big window and very efficient AC. The bathroom is excellent. Some staff—breakfast and cleaning—are fantastic—super friendly and efficient. Overall, it is in a great location, although it is never quiet. Breakfast was okay—not too fancy, but it was okay. It is possible to book a late check-out for an extra.

Cons: I was missing a fridge in the room. The cleaning amount was increased after discussing with the staff and was again adjusted to the correct amount.

Pros: The hotel was very centrally located which is what I was after. Having read the reviews I knew this meant it was going to be quite noisy but the hotel provided decent ear plugs which worked really well and my sleep wasn't disturbed. The aircon worked well, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful and happy to try to help despite my non existent Spanish.

Cons: I did enjoy my stay at this hotel but can't help feel the room I had wasn't as nice as I would have expected for the money I paid - although it was comfortable and met my needs. Don't book this place just for the pool. It's the size of a postage stamp and only has two deckchairs in the shade and two in the water in the direct sunshine. Unfortunately each time I went to use the pool the shaded chairs were in use so I couldn't make use of the space.

Centrally located hotel, great access to the all areas of the Old City

Pros: Central location in walled city Staff very friendly and welcoming Good breakfast Good air conditioning, essential as it was very hot No noise heard from streets outside hotel

Cons: Bed sheets were too small for the bed, barely covered the top of the bed, so sleep was disturbed

Pros: the welcome drink is amazing, beautiful rooms, great breakfast, great location

Cons: they don't allow friends to go up to the rooms which is rather strange

Pros: Perfect place to visit Cathagenas. Very central, room was clean, and it is so nice to enjoy the rooftop swimming pool after a long day walking in the streets

A very nice hotel with great value for money that I highly recommend.

Pros: The staff were super friendly, the rooms were always clean and had a lovely perfume after housekeeping cleaned it. Check in and out lasted less than 10 mins. I was greeted with a welcome drink and a refreshing towel. The location is perfect, close to cute shops, convenience stores, restaurants and pharmacies and lots of money exchange spots.

Cons: The street can get a bit loud so the rooms on that side are a bit noisy. But it's not really the hotel's fault.

I had bad luck that there was a construction on the street of the hotel but everything really nice,

Pros: Nice place! staff suepr friendly, even checked up early!

Cons: It's true that water to shower is not that hot. But with the heat is was nice
