Perfectly situated boutique hotel

Pros: This hotel is beautiful and is in the perfect location! You are walking steps from all the sites, restaurants and rooftop bars in Cartegena. The staff - Edwin, Carlos, Juan are all fantastic and so helpful!

Cons: Some of the rooms do not have windows. Most do not have balconies so choose your room wisely. The noise from the street and other rooftops can be heard so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!

Pros: The staff was amazing. Thank you again to the team! The rooms were very comfortable with comfortable beds. Location is perfect.

Pros: The staff at the hotel are excellent. Very friendly and helpful, and they offer good advice when needed - in particular, Rodolfo, Edwin and Santiago. The breakfast is very tasty, with fresh fruit too. The rooftop pool is very handy to have.

Cons: The room is very noisy - you need earplugs

Beautiful cozy hotel

Pros: It’s a cozy small hotel very well decorated. When you go in, you forget about the chaos of the street. The staff is amazing, everyone made sure we had the best stay in Cartagena. Breakfast was good and big.

Pros: I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem nestled within the historic Old City of Cartagena, Colombia, and I can't praise it enough. This hotel effortlessly combines a great location with impeccable charm, cleanliness, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.

Pros: Great pool area to relax and great staff. The room was very comfortable.

Cons: Breakfast was served in a separate room without any daylight and we didn’t really know what we will get. Our room smelled a little bit musty when you first came in and there wasn’t a lot of space. We stayed in quite a few very nice hotels in Colombia and this was one of the most expensive ones

Pros: Excellent location. Small rooms but efficient iand modern. Good breakfast. Attentive staff.

Cons: I had upgraded the room on booking.com. It stated that you would have a pool view. We looked out on some poorly finished roofs. Location is good the next two main square in some bars and you would hear loud music until after 2 AM.

Pros: Staff is extremely attentive to the guests and their needs and is always available (also giving suggestions as to places to visit/eat and to organize boat trips). They are also very kind and nice. Perfectly located in the center of the town, the area is very safe. Nice pool and rooftop and very clean rooms. Very fresh breakfast. Extremely good value for money.

Pros: Our experience at Sol de Alba was phenomenal. The hotel is beautiful, and we loved the decor and architecture. Our room was very clean and the shower had hot water with strong pressure. We loved our terrace and the location was very central. Despite being in busy Cartagena, there was no noise at night! Most importantly, the staff was very kind, helpful, and friendly. Always looking to help out. Breakfast was lovely as well.
