Stunning boutique hotel

Pros: Absolutely stunning hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Superb location. Beautiful decor. Great breakfast, lovely pool area, good selection of weights / equipment in small gym - including little pots of nuts and dried fruits. Bed was super comfy. Humidifier, air con, fridge, safe and hot water in rooms. I’ve been to Cartagena many times and this was my favourite hotel by far.

Cons: Minor point - would be good to have towels / wet wipes in gym area Was a bit noisy late in the evening but with the white noise of the humidifier and air con, I barely heard it. But that isn’t the hotel’s fault either - just cos of central location

A central, quiet oasis with a fantastic view and a very helpful team.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is centrally located but still relatively quiet for Cartagena. Good breakfast with fresh options and lots of fruit. The outdoor area is a highlight, featuring several terraces, small pools, and a great view.

Cons: The staff is very friendly and hardworking. Our stay started poorly as our \

Great location. Lots of stairs to climb to/ from

Pros: Excellent location, in the middle of the old city. Rooftop view and pool are really nice. Staff is very friendly.

Cons: The room has a window, but you cannot open it, as it looks towards the court, where A/C boxes are, snd where people are passing to get to their room. You need to climb 50 stairs to get to the breakfast room, and additional 20 to the rooftop. For us it was fine, but some guests would not appreciate it. TV didn't work, but we didn't watch ut anyway. The biggest issues for us was, that the hotel charged our credit card twice for the entire stay. It took us nearly 2 months to get the money back, after several calls/ mails/ messages with the property and booking platform. Very annoying.

A little oasis of calm and comfort

Pros: The service was excellent and we loved the rooftop pool to hang out and have cocktails whilst reading. The breakfasts were so good and carefully prepared every day. The rooms were comfortable.

Cons: Nothing. There was some noise from a neighbouring club but we found the same in a lot of central located hotels.

Great hotel, but very disappointing breakfast experience

Pros: The location, the view from the hotel, the kindness of the reception staff, and the bartender on the rooftop (his cocktails were AMAZING).

Cons: Breakfast. There was literally nothing to eat. Every time, we had to ask the person in charge of breakfast for bread, fruit, etc., because everything was empty. We were always fewer than three or four people at breakfast, yet he took at least 10 minutes to make a single omelette per person. He was very unpleasant, and we clearly felt like we were bothering him every time we asked for something. It was a horrible experience, and I have never had a problem like this in a hotel before.

Excellent location in the walled city, had a nice time

Pros: Loved the rooftop view Loved the location Loved the small but mighty breakfast Loved the bar food and cocktails Loved the interesting decor and palm trees Massage was great

Cons: I had some issues with the room upon check-in, but management was able to re-accomodate me, even though I preferred the decor in the original room of choice. It was very humid, and humidifier was too noisy. Some things are dated and may need restoration or replacement.

Pros: Everything was very nice. Special thanks to Alfredo, the chef, who would bake fresh bread and cake every day for breakfast! We loved it!
