Cons: You should be aware that in this area there is always loud music at night.

Pros: Casa Lazuli is a beautiful place and the ladies owning it are very sweet and welcoming! They received us with a juice, and made us feel at home during our whole stay! The terrace has amazing views, perfect to have breakfast and watch the sunset. We had a 3 person bedroom that was comfortable, the noise at night wasn’t bad cause there was only a small window.

Cons: The breakfast in the morning was good but overpriced (40K)

Pros: The location and the room are fantastic, highly recomended place to stay in Cartagena.

Great boutique hotel in central location

Pros: We had an amazing time at Casa Azul, they’ve been super accommodating and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast was great!

Central hotel with friendly staff and great aircon

Pros: The staff that made breakfast were so friendly, the place was super clean, the Aircon was strong (needed with the humidity) and the location was excellent.

Cons: The noise wasn't too bad but the hotel is beside some late night clubs and bars. Also, the safe in our room was dodgy but the staff were very helpful with trying to sort that.

Pros: Lovely property in the heart of the old city. Super clean, amazing staff and lovely breakfast.

Cons: Not an issue but be aware there is no lift.

Pros: The Casa Azul Cartagena is a wonderful place to stay, in the heart of the historic center, with an amazing and beautiful view over Cartagena from the Terrace. The room was very clean and had a nice ambience. The team is super lovely and helpful. The breakfast, served on the Terrace, is tasty and varied, with fresh juices and fruits. The last morning we had to leave at 4am..we got a little breakfast doggy bag, that was really nice. Thank you all!

Brilliant. Almost actually hidden gem in the old town.

Pros: Once you’ve found it (look for the blue sign on the wall near the tattoo artist) this is truly a gem of a place to stay. The staff are lovely and helpful, the room was spot on and such good value for money that we wished we had stayed longer. The rooftop spot for breakfast and watching the sun set is brilliant. Beers in the minibar sensibly priced. Breakfast good, and included in an already very good price. Get a hold of the WhatsApp number for the place before you travel to the location.

Cons: Finding it was a pain, there is only a small blue sign outside that we missed on a cursory check. Well worth the effort though.

Couldn’t wish for more!

Pros: I love this place because it gave me a feeling of coming home. It's perfect for someone who doesn't enjoy hostels or standard hotels. It's a house with the luxury and comfort of a hotel but with that homey feeling. Exactly what I was looking for! The location is excellent, everything is well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and the owner is very helpful. I would highly recommend it!

Cons: The place is fantastic because you step out the door and find yourself right in the heart of the city, close to everything you could wish for. Just keep in mind that you'll need to sleep with earplugs, as the street turns into an open-air nightclub every night. It's the only downside, something the owner can't control, but it's good to be aware of.

Pros: Nuestra experiencia fue excelente de principio a fin. La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable, muy conveniente y perfecta para moverse con facilidad por la zona. La limpieza es impecable, todo estaba en perfectas condiciones y eso realmente hace la diferencia. Además, la atención del personal fue extraordinaria: siempre amables, atentos y dispuestos a ayudar. Queremos destacar especialmente a José, quien nos brindó un apoyo increíble ante un pequeño percance que tuvimos. Su actitud resolutiva y su disposición marcaron totalmente nuestra experiencia. Se nota cuando alguien disfruta su trabajo y se preocupa genuinamente por los huéspedes. También agradecemos mucho que nos hayan permitido hacer el check-in a las 22 hs, lo cual fue de gran ayuda para nosotros. Ese tipo de flexibilidad habla muy bien del servicio y la calidad humana del lugar. Sin duda, volveríamos y lo recomendamos al 100%.
